The service was outstanding. I am especially appreciative of the hostess for ensuring I made it to my Uber and for giving helpful, warm, and friendly information about the area.

Frozen margarita was the only highlight, and even it was pretty melted. Queso tastes like something I could buy off-the-shelf at HEB, everything was expensive, service was harried, and good luck finding parking.

I was hopeful, but in the end as I expected. Average food, small serving way overpriced. Had the beef fajitas, they were huge chunks, should have been cut thinner. No beans on side, served with rice that was average. The guacamole was good. The chips were average. The la Pina margarita was ok. The frozen margarita was excellent. But, $20 per margarita is a joke. No wonder this place was empty. The menu selection was super small, meaning not many choices. Need to do better.

Can be crowded depending on events going on downtown. Service is good, but not a lot they can do during massive rushes.

Fantastic food and service. The wild game options are great and I like to try something new every time I’m there. Perfect place to go before or after an Astros game or whenever you are in downtown and looking for a high quality meal.

This is a great Houston staple. Some miss out on the lemonade and the heavenly sea bass.

Been seeing this place for a while and decided to give it a try. The view from the outside is unassuming and once you enter, it looks like an unorganized restaurant but it's FAR from unorganized. The staff was friendly, professional and attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh and actually cooked, not heated! They didn't have menus for lunch but the waiter told us everything that we needed to know. Authentic Mexican food is better than tex-mex imo, so if you like authentic, this is your place! Oh, and get the house lemonade!

Irma's has a bustling business lunchtime vibe. The service is fast and friendly, the food was good, not great. I had the mole, it wasn't authentic or anything to write home about, my colleague had tacos and loved them. Margaritas were great and overpriced. All in all a good lunch spot

DYNAMITE spot!! Get Combo #1–it includes the best enchilada I’ve ever had outside of Mexico…the beef fajita meat was so delicious and perfectly seasoned! You’ll pay more but it’s worth it. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The margs are spot on? Oh and get the guac!!

Food was good but way over priced. For such a fancy restaurant serving cans of soda at $4 each is tacky. Basic dish expensive then $10 scoop of sour

My colleague and I dined at Irma's Southwest last night and had a lovely dinner and experience. The service was welcoming and not rushed, they paced our courses perfectly, and we could hold a conversation without straining to hear one another while having a comfortable sit-down. Irma's is one of my go-to restaurants in Houston due to the combination of consistently great service and food.
