Best breakfast in Houston. Love the cheese blintzes. Almost didn’t want to write a review because I don’t want the masses to discover this gem. Kinda reminds me of how IHOP used to be 20 years ago or so (back when they were good).

I love Jackie’s Kitchen so much. Have been going here with my mom since I was a young child and Jackie always remembers us. She’s so sweet and all of the staff there are sweet as well. Cute little diner atmosphere and the food is good. My go-to is typically the Eggs Benedict, but decided to switch it up and get the Wings and Waffle and the wings are so good. The crust on them is to die for tbh. My mom got the Chicken Fried Steak and it comes with mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli, and either a soup or salad. Lot of food. Great place, great owner, great atmosphere!

My husband won't stop talking about the grits. We had an amazing experience and service. Will return in the future.Kid-friendliness: Perfect for families!
Admittedly, I ve only tried one dish. But that one dish is DELICIOUS.The loaded country potatoes had me going back for more just a few days later.Jackie's is a good ole American Diner that seems to have a steady clientele of folks who enjoy the food just as much as I do.Parking: They have their own parking lot. But I suspect when the place gets packed, you might struggle to find a spot. outside of that private, free parking lot

I wanted to love Jackie's kitchen because of the reviews and because I kept passing it every time I went to Frank's. The service was very nice, the place was clean, including the restroom. Inviting atmosphere, family oriented, pretty quick service. The problem was the grits were lumpy and cold, the link sausage, could have been cooked a bit longer. The pancakes though they taste good. They were really thick which made them suck up a lot of syrup. Honestly, I would give it another try with maybe lunch or dinner foods.
Worst BLT I have ever had $17 bacon was old burnt like it was cooked yesterday outrageous never go to this place to eat it sucks big time Frank's Grill down the street was closed at this time next time I'll be there before it closes lot's better than this place and prices are a lot cheaper and better food
