I ordered the pollo con chile con queso to go. The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portion size (although a bit smaller than what I'm used to) was perfect for just myself. The atmosphere was quiet and serene - exactly what I needed (even though I ordered to go lol) and the service was friendly. SN: I returned the next day it was so good ?Parking: Spacious parking lot with plenty of room.Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere. Saw many couples and families entering.

The place is run down but the service is excellent. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the food. I ordered a barbacoa taco and it was old, tasted slightly fishy and I suspect it was frozen or kept in the fridge for a long time. Their lengua taco was dry and also not fresh. I ordered beans and rice with my meal and the beans were a 3.0/5, the flavor was just not there. The rice, it tasted like it was made with thick chicken bouillon and had the color to match. I loved the salsa though, it was refreshing and not too spicy. The tortillas were not up to par, they were thin and almost tasted store bought. I really enjoyed the horrchata though! It didn't taste like it was made from a mix. Overall, I wouldn't come back. I recommend you go to San Antonio for the best Tex-Mex in the country!
