Great service and great food! The entire staff were attentive and the food was reasonably priced for what we got. We recommend the poblano crab corn chowder and the the shrimp and lobster enchiladas. The Mexican chocolate tort was also fantastic!

We continue to love going to Joyce's Seafood and Steaks! It's our favorite spot for dinner on our way to events in town. The food is excellent as well as the service. They make my favorite Cosmopolitan martini!

This is one of my wife's and my favorite neighborhood restaurants on the west side of Houston. I especially like the grilled salmon and baby greens salad, as well as any of the fresh fish selections (especially the red fish). My wife likes most anything on the menu as long as it comes with grilled shrimp or grilled shrimp is added. The atmosphere is great - you can actually carry on a conversation. It is just a plesant restaurant at which to dine with friends.

Now listen, I came here for seafood. This place does not server seafood. They just so happen to have a crab bisque, lobster & shrimp enchiladas and shrimp po’boy.. and everything was bland at best. I was disappointed with the amount I spent compared to the quality of food. The crab bisque was brown, runny and flavorless! I have never seen a bisque that color and I was honestly offended. I’m not sure if it’s because my hair was blonde that day or what but the staff was acting a little weird. Anyway, I won’t be back but thanks for the experience.

I will definitely be returning. Everything from my first greeting, my Cosmo and then delicious seafood was wonderful. We had Delia as our waitress. She's so good! I highly recommend Joyce's.

Joyce's Seafood is consistently good. The seafood is always fresh, and well prepared. Can't go wrong with any of the grilled options. And I had forgotten how good the seafood enchiladas are as well! A neighborhood gem, Best to go between 5-5:30 pm, it can get a bit busy after 6

Loved the fried shrimp. As always excellent service. Nothing fancy here, just good people and good food.

The family needed a warm bowl of gumbo and this is the place. Wonderful and full of flavor, its the Roux that would make any NOLA think this came from the Bayou...Not the Bayou City.

After years of wanting to try this restaurant I decided to try it. Wasn't impressed. Ordered the catfish platter which wasn't real catfish more like swai. I asked before I ordered and of course he told me it was . The fries were cold and hard. The only thing that was good were the hush puppies. Got that one off my list

First time to Joyce's and overall pretty happy. It's a stand-alone building which was extended at some point with old window openings visible on what is now an inside wall. The inside area seems cozier with a bar while in the extension we felt a bit removed from the action. Decor is fine but a bit dated/kitschy. We were seated quickly and service was attentive throughout without hovering or rushing which is what we like. Good assortment of cocktails at standard prices but only bottled beer which was a disappointment. Food experience started slowly with a basic crusty white loaf of bread which I assume they bake on location. Next was the mussels special which was disappointing as they were overcooked and served in a bowl in a sauce with consistency of chowder. Was supposed to be white wine sauce but looked, felt and tasted very different from the classic preparation which is more of a broth and in a large pot. From there things got much better. Two fish specials were great, Snapper and Redfish on the half shell. Large potions and we finished both which is unusual for us but that meant no room for their famous bread pudding. Think we will go back to make sure we get to try that.

Joyce's is one of our go to restaurants and has been so for many years. We think that it is a great value, the food is always excellent and the staff is outstanding. If you don't like this restaurant, you should stay home.
