I used the love this place SOLEY for the Truffle Mac and Cheese. BUT unfortunately they took it off the menu, which I think was a huge mistake. I’m not coming back anytime soon if that is not on the menu.

Most dishes are just the standard mac and cheese with toppings, spinach and artichoke was good, chicken tikka was just tenders and tikka sauce added on top of their normal mac and cheese.Should’ve known it was going to be mid when I saw there was only one other party there and the lady at the front had no care in the world.Fries were overpriced and tasted microwaved, no crisp and no sauce that comes with it. $1 for a small cup of ranch or ketchup is a scam, and despite ordering over $50 of food, they were still being stingy over one side of ranch.Also they closed the bathroom for seemingly no reason? Not sure what that was about, probably just didn’t want to clean up, cause it was clean when I washed my hands in there just a minute earlier

This place has changed.This is one of those hipster eateries with the live wood accents and vintage lights that charge $15+ for an entree nothing else included. By the time you’re done ordering, you’ve spent $50 on 2 people- for Mac and Cheese.Overall the Montrose location seems bland. Used to be more comfortable. Like they got rid of a bunch of decorative items on the walls. Seems bare. Every now and then I treat myself because the “Pitmaster” is awesome. Went in the other day and they had 1 couple without food, 2 just ordered and it was our turn. The guy told them it would be 20 minutes before they got their food. I asked if it would really be 20 minutes. He said, for us it would be closer to 30 minutes.Probably not the best business model to implement if having more than one order at a time brings the kitchen to a halt. It didn’t used to be this way. Comfy atmosphere, pricey but good food and no mushy noodles, able to handle 2 orders at once…??♂️

We loved this place when it opened in the Heights years ago. I was glad we were close to this location today. Unfortunately, we left underwhelmed & disappointed.It started when we entered. The employee at the counter could not be bothered. He wasn’t rude, but dripping with apathy. The drink machine was out of service. The restaurant was completely empty and it was peak lunch time. The food was delicious, but the vibe of the whole place was off. I kept thinking how unfortunate since the menu gives it so much potential to be an amazing establishment. This restaurant could use a total facelift: an ambiance level up, kind employees with a focus on the customer, a new drink machine, and upgrade to the look. Disappointed.

First time visit we ordered to go. Short wait time and good service. Will be back to eat in. Since mac n cheese is my favorite dish, I was pleased with flavor and presentation. They have 2 sizes for you to choose lb and 1lb. The half pound is too small for me, so of course, the 1lb was the winner.

Came for lunch and the restaurant was empty and reeked of bleach. The soda machine was broken and I was told there was no soda or ice, but I could get water. The water was cloudy. I took a sip, thinking I was mistaken since the lighting in the restaurant was dim. Nope, it tasted funny too. We elected not to drink anything with our meals. Had two orders of mac and cheese and a cheeseburger. The food unremarkable - Chick-Fil-A honestly has a tastier and more flavorful mac and cheese. Restrooms were disgusting, but thankfully we were only there to wash our hands. Paper towel dispenser didn’t work and they were low on soap. I decided against writing a review but changed my mind when I got the worst stomach cramps and had to run for the restroom later on in the day. I’m almost certain this restaurant was the culprit. If you peruse other reviews, you can see similar experiences. Eat here at your own risk.
