We randomly found this place on Google and saw the great reviews….it truly is delicious! The pork and Greek lemon chicken gyros were awesome!! The ‘hot’ hot sauce had a great flavor and was very spicy! Restaurant had a modern ambiance and was very clean! Will definitely come back!!

Just ate there for the first time, nothing special honestly. I really wanted to like this place because I’m from Chicago but it was mediocre. I got a chicken pita, the pita bread was way too crispy tasted like a chip, it’s supposed to be soft for gyros. The meat was good but it was very little. So it was just pita bread with a bunch of sauce and a few pieces of chicken. Toppings also mostly nothing few pieces of onion and tomato. I mean if your in the area try it but nothing to go out of your way for. Fries were not that good either. Still on the hunt for a good gyro in Houston

We had the pork gyro with a Greek salad, FRESH-CUT FRIES, and spanakopita. It all was excellent, right down to the iced tea. Definitely worth the drive from downtown!

I love this place. I keep going back despite many other Mediterranean options nearby. Burgers are great, Gyros are great, zucchini fritters are awesome. One of the only places where I have to get the “mild” sauce. They bring the heat!

I love this place! The pork gyro is phenomenal! Even better is the Greek salad (be warned... There is no lettuce in the Greek salad...only peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. But everything is top quality and so good!)

Small little place that packs a BIG punch with flavor. The owner was very nice and the food was delicious! The hot sauce is actually HOT and I loved it. The spicy chicken sandwich and spinach puffs were amazing!Going again for sure!

When plans fell through for dinner, my wife and I decided to order Greek food. I searched Google for Greek food near me, and this place came up. We looked at the menu on Google, decided what looked appetizing, and called to order take out from this place for the first time ever. When the guy picked up the phone, I asked for two gyro platters. The man informs me that they don’t have platters. I was confused because I just saw it on the Google menu, and when I mentioned that he said (in a very condescending tone) he doesn’t control what Google puts there. I honestly was very shocked at his tone, but asked if he had something similar altogether on a plate, like fries, gyro meat on a plate. He snapped back, “yeah we have plates.” So I responded, “isn’t that the same thing? Plate and a platter?”Anyway, so I went ahead and ordered two “plates” and went to pick them up for dinner. When I arrived, I went to the register to pay and he came out looking very angry. He told me I was very rude to him over the phone. Obviously, I was surprised by this, because I felt that he was extremely rude to me, a first time customer. He asked me why I didn’t go to his website. I tried to explain to him how I found the menu on Google, and tried to show him so that he would understand what his future customers may see. He kept cutting me off when I was speaking, not giving me the respect of listening to my experience but kept repeating to me that I was rude. When I realized that he was not in a place to listen or have a rational conversation at all, I decided to leave. The way that I was treated was enough to make anyone walk away. As I left, he started shouting behind me, “Have a nice day, sir!” as though he was trying to cuss me out, but still wanting to make it sound polite because he had customers in the dining room.By far, one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had since moving to Houston four years ago.

Keep hearing and reading reviews about the burger here and it is the real deal. The service is counter but very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return and recommend.

If you haven’t tried Just GRK in the last year, you don’t know what you are missing. Chris has really changed things up and has taken it to the next level. He has added a daily soup special during the winter that you should not miss. His Texas Chili is the best I’ve ever eaten. The tomato soup with grilled cheese is outstanding. On Fridays, the Greek meatball soup is extremely flavorful. Chris has really tweaked his menu for the better. He is constantly adding new items and trying new things out. He will also be adding seafood options during Lent. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

Edit: Loved the owners response, hahaha!Great place, we liked everything we tried and we will visit again. However, if you tell your θεία “let’s eat authentic Greek food” and you bring her here, you’re going to get scolded. Also, they only serve Pepsi products.

I've been looking for a good Greek place around the Houston area and this did not disappoint. Fast, friendly service and delicious food! Tried the dip trio (highly recommend the spicy feta), Greek poutine fries, spanakopita, pork gyro, and chicken skewers. It was all phenomenal. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. Pork was bursting with flavor - a unique twist on the standard pork+lamb gyro meat! And the tzatziki is *chefs kiss*. They're also a BYOB restaurant. Cannot wait to go again to try other menu items!

I probably recommend just about everything, but surely the one and only wraps in pita that are 100% authentic with chicken or with pork! Price for quantity and most even importantly, quality is great! I was delighted to discover this with my other greek friends. We are students from Greece studying at Houston and we knew that "just grk" will be our weekly haunt! We feel we ate healthy food after all! Best to chef Chris and his crew! A must visit if you seek the real Greek in the heart of TX! This place with greek souvlaki is our favorite (we love tx bbq too!

Burger is top notch and lived up to the hype. Perfect juiciness and flavor, great beef mix from the owner. Owner took time to talk to myself and my friend and is super friendly and hard working. Will try the Greek favorites next time. Overall a fantastic experience.

I love Greek food but I feel scammed. $12 for one gyro and fries are extra and sauce is extra, tip and payment required before you eat. I ended up spending $16 and the fries were bland (didn’t bother finishing them) and the gyro was small. Left highly unsatisfied and hungry. Value 1/5, taste 2/5.

The potato fries are so good. The best! I got the "Chicago style " gyro and it was good, but didn't expect or want more fries in it. Will definitely try the original Greek gyro next time I go. I don't know her name, however the person who was at the register/counter was very helpful and pleasant. Thank you!
