This is by far the best Indian food I’ve had in Houston. Each dish was JUST as good as the last. I truly can’t remember the last time I loved every single thing ordered. The staff was so nice and attentive, and the food was AMAZING. My only regret is not coming here sooner! Can’t wait for my next visit.

One of the best North Indian food restaurants in Houston. Hidden gem.

The Amigos in the open kitchen forgot to add any/nada ?️ to my “medium heat” order. After the waitress got me a small bowl of the good stuff to finish making the food myself, all the flavors appeared. Good to get a glimpse of modern Indian food manufacturing. Man, I just can’t get enough of the American Indian food.

Food is lacking authentic taste. Caters to a more “bland” palette. Atmosphere and service is nice. Reasonably priced. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for authentic North Indian flavor.

Well where do i start. I ordered the vegetable Samosa, which proved somewhat delightful, especially when paired with Tamarind and Coconut chutney. However, my experience soured with the Chicken Biryani, which, despite my request for extra spice, arrived disappointingly lacking in flavor, with mere sprinkles of spice on top. The Reshmi Kabab emitted an off-putting aroma, resembling more of a pre-packaged, frozen variety than a freshly prepared delicacy. The Yellow Daal failed to impress, lacking the authentic essence of tadka daal. On a positive note, the Naan showcased exemplary preparation and execution. Lastly, the Masala Chai failed to deliver on its promised spice infusion. Despite culinary setbacks, the courtesy and politeness of the counter attendant were commendable, as was the pleasing ambience. Consequently, a rating of 2 stars seems fitting in light of the overall dining experience.

My family’s favorite Indian restaurant in Houston!!AMAZING food every time, super fresh, and the prices are all great. The ambience is classy and service is phenomenal. All staff are so welcoming and take care of us very well!!We love all of their appetizers mostly grilled items which are simple but taste amazing: manty, chooza, tawa paneer, and their seekh kebabsFor mains i love their lamb bhuna and their malai kofta so much you must try!! And of course their chicken tikka masala is a classic. All of their naans are delicious but try the paneer kulcha if you want something different it's so good!!For dessert I love everything they have: mango lassi, gulab jamun, kheer and kulfi!10/10 recommend this place, it will always be my favorite Indian food in Houston!!

In all my years doing so I have never tasted such scrumptious and delectable Indian food as I did today at The Khyber restaurant. Equally mouthwatering is the owner, a man they call Mickey. Not to be confused with the cartoon rodent who also brings merriment into the lives of many. A stout lad of excellent character. The queen herself would be proud to polish his hairless head. His delightfully dry humor can only be attributed to a grandfather and father of equal measure. Well done lad, well done.

Went for lunch buffet at 1:30 and despite the fact that they are supposed to close at two, they dismantled the buffet at 1:45 and literally rushed us out the door at two!! We were completely ignored by wait staff. Food was mediocre and vastly overpriced at $25 each. Never again. Go elsewhere!

Lovely saag paneer (paneer is creamed into the saag, no cubes)Lamb kebab rather dry.Chicken kebab was ok, but dry too.Raita lacked saltLemonade rather watered down but alright for me.Chicken curry atrociously sweet. No curry I have eaten in my twenty years living in India has been this sweet.Presentation was lovely, ambience nice, and person waiting on me was polite.Did not pay attention to hand raised for more than five mins when I needed the check.Overall I'm underwhelmed by this place, I expected much more given the price point and reviews.
