Kiss was nice. The aesthetic is gorgeous for a date night or a girl's night out. The service was good. My waitress helped me pick a drink and an entree. I wasn't impressed with the drinks or food. My salmon was a bit dry but the dirty rice was good (not vegan). I don't think it was worth the price. I will try to come back for brunch and see how it goes.

We had a reservation but we still had to wait ~15 min to be seated. Service was very helpful and friendly but slow. It had good music playing but it was very loud so make sure you don't want to have a conversation. The drinks were good but pricey. $18 for regular drinks. The best value is a mimosa carafe for $20. The Catfish and grits tasted good. The grits could have been smoother. The Catfish was crispy, hot and flavorful. The etoufee didn't have any crawfish in my friend's dish and only 2 crawfish in mine. The board is a good deal.

Received an invitation for a birthday celebration at Kiss. We arrived during a weekday and our group seated quickly, based on a reservation. There were also not a lot of customers. Our orders were placed - both entrees and appetizers. The appetizers were plated very nicely, but were not as good as they looked. The shrimp for example, tasted too sweet. We also had dumplings, spinach dip and crab beignets ~ I wouldn't recommend. The entrees were also plated nicely. I had the fried chicken and it was served on huge cutting board - NICE. It was good. In terms of the ambiance, there was music being played, which got louder the later it got. Along with the appetizers, the other downside during our visit was the service. Note: There is a 20% gratuity added for groups. The server did not ask how our group was to split the bill. Unfortunately, my husband and I were overcharged by $200. I was fortunate enough to catch it. The server was nowhere to be found to iron out the issue and when she finally came, she didn't apologize or show much concern. Our bill was adjusted but it caused some tension during a celebration since what she overcharged us had to go to someone else's bill. It would have been nice to do that the first time as that took away from the celebration for a while. Overall - it was an ok visit but could have been much better. Update: We had to dispute the $200 overcharge with the bank. They adjusted our check but didn't deduct it from the posted amount. We won't be back and don't recommend. There are reviews consistent with this behavior of additional charges.

(optional) After bringing my husband to your restaurant for his birthday i was very disappointed. A mandatory 20 percent gratuity for poor service was excessive to say the least. The food was fair and the drinks was overpriced and poorly made. 56 dollars for 2 smokey old fashions that tasted like bitters and smoke was terrible. (i guess the globe ice cube was extra) very tacky.And after flying in from Atlanta for my husband's birthday.. not one mention of it at all and i included this on our reservation. One waitress for the patio and i saw more of her exposed behind than i saw of her face and service. The visit was a disappointment on a very special occasion. When upscale is advertised you kinda expect to experience it.. in this case it was an afterthought.

Food was good! Some of the apps weren't that amazing as expected but the Lobster Ravioli was amazingggg. The ambiance was great. Dim lit, beautiful restaurant inside, especially the red letters lights and mirrors near the restroom. Great music and a great vibe. The patio looked so nice too. Service was good, ladies were nice, could've came back to check on us more but no big complaints.

Came to Houston with my girls and we came here for dinner. We made reservations as there were 9 of us. We were seated promptly. Our server was awesome and quick. Our second round of drinks was a little slow coming out, but I could see our server checking on them at the bar. We ordered the Spinach dip (with bread and chips $1 up charge). It was pretty good. We crushed it. I had the Smoked Old Fashion . It was super cute and good. I ordered the Filet mignon as my main course, cooked medium. It was good except for the "sauce" that was on the side. It was actually so bad I didn't eat anything that touched it. Filet mignon cooked properly needs no flair. The 4/5 stars is due to the sauce and how dark the ambiance was. It definitely was giving a date night vibe and we actually joked the whole time that it was dark so you couldn't actually see the food. If I lived there, I would definitely go back for a cute date.

the service was pretty good given that we came with a very large group. however, there were a few times where we were waiting/wondering when they would take our order. the vibe is fun, they play fun party music during brunch and it was a great time for a birthday brunch the food was 4/5. not the best i've ever had but definitely solid and did not disappoint. the avocado toast was a surprise favorite. the french toast definitely tasted like a funnel cake and the mac and cheese was yummy! would come back for an event like a birthday celebration

My girlfriends and I went for Ladies night and had the most amazing time. Finally an upscale place, with such a stylish vibe, great food, but most of all the MUSIC was top tier. We for sure will be back.

The low stars are strictly due to service. Our bill for 3 people two adults and a child was 329 the food is good the bus people are very nice. I saw my waitress who had on short black shorts stunningly beautiful l must add but her butt cheeks was hanging out just a taste at the bottom no shade get it girl but when you proceed to sit those cheeks on a clean and clear empty table you lost me. You better believe anything that dropped on my table remained there. She could have sat those cheeks right there before l came. Then had the nerve to hand me a straw held by a napkin as if cleanliness was a concern. Girl bye never again will l step pinky toe in this place!
