The food was phenomenal and so fresh. We love raw, tangy, fish forward dishes. The options for these tastes were great. Service was a little slow but food made up for it. Lovely lunch.

First visit for me and wife 4/13/24 - overall an amazing experience we put on par with Uchi, at ~1/3 lower cost.We sat at sushi bar and the attentive staff served us:Clam Miso SoupGarlic EdamameTruffle Suzuki rollUnagi (eel) nigiriCrispy DuckUni pastaBlack Sesame brownie with roasted rice ice cream (gratis, for birthday)We were truly blown away by each of these dishes, and would order all of them again. The only thing we wished for was slightly wetter sauce on the Uni pasta. An extra splash of pasta water would have made this perfect.Excellent roaming violin player added to the great ambience.Overall a fantastic time, we will come back to try more of the menu! With 2 cocktails and carafe of house sake total bill was $150+tip

I hadn’t been to Kuu in years and it did not disappoint. The makimono specifically the truffle suzuki and the a5 wagyu roll were the right balance if heavy, crunchy and bright. The service was efficient. Can’t wait to come back.

We celebrated a family member’s 60th birthday here and were not disappointed by the efficient and professional waitstaff. The food was absolutely delectable. The sushi bar area was a wonderful addition, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We were suggested the fresh tuna, and it was perfect. This is one of the few higher-end establishments in which the amount and quality of food is justified by the price. We look forward to returning, and we definitely recommend.

Went for my birthday. Food selection and quality were excellent. Waitress was very attentive. We ordered many different items between appetizers ,nigiri, rolls ,chef selections and desserts and split between four of us. Very comfortable restaurant. Will definitely be back. If you want the souffle or Tiramisu order it right away when you get there.

Currently writing this as I am in the restaurant. Came here with my girlfriend for our anniversary and the vibe was immaculate. The truffle suzuki is hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had… 10/10. Highly recommend. The restaurant interior really completes the entire experience.

There's nothing special or remarkable about this place. Feels like sushi at the mall. Drinks are mediocre and weak, and the sushi is for people who don't really like sushi - lots of ingredients, not much fish. Kuu a place worthy of skipping!

The fish seemed old and the food was cold. The rice was also cold and not normal rice you get with Nagiri pieces. I was excited to try this place, but it did not live up to our expectations.

Omakase dinner was amazing! The chefs put together such a delicious set course. The selection of fish was fresh and unique and the flavors were well balanced. Service was amazing. She was so helpful with the menu and so informed of the plated being served. I'm making this the first place we visit when we get back to Houston!
