We love the food at Lua Viet and we frequently eat there. I usually order a dish that has watercress as a main green ingredient. This was the second time that I have to ask " where is the watercress?" Last time they forgot it and this time the kitchen ran out. Not sure if this will be now become the standard response but just be aware that you may not get all that you are ordering. Dissapointing.

Place slaps. Really yummy and fair prices, plus they have craft diet soda which I appreciate it. My one complaint is that it's a bit chilly inside, feels like they have the AC on 67.

I ordered beef pho, and give it a C minus. The broth was not very flavorful and authentic, and the meat was just normal raggedy beef trimmings. If you go try an authentic pho restaurant, you’ll know the difference. However, the place is very nice. The staff are helpful, and there is a lot of light. The restaurant is very clean, and they bus the tables very quickly.

Pretty good. Not exactly "mom and pop" but solidlidly inner loop Viet food. For the best ethnic food, go to the burbs, where the ethnic minorities live and can open restaurants without taking on investors. The burbs have the best of all ethnic foods here. The city only serves white-washed versions. This is coming from someone who has never lived in the burbs. It is true here, though. I go to the burbs for authentic food.

Overpriced and skimpy Beef Garlic Egg Noodles, Coconut sticky rice hard as a rock, very little coconut flavor?

Nice pho. The broth tasted different to the traditional flavour but good too. The quality of the beef was great. It was thick but surprisingly tender. This is different to your traditional pho beef but I much prefer theirs. There were lots of meat to enjoy with the noodles and broth, again this also stood out from other phos. I really enjoyed it. I will most likely visit again. The only thing I'd say is that I wish they had thicker rice noodles to choose from which I love more.

Take a look at those eggrolls. They taste like how they look. It came with two stale and withered pieces of lettuce that were too small to wrap around an eggroll. The pho broth was extremely salty and they used some janky flank steak for the protein. I wasn’t expecting legit Viet food but this is taking it too far. On top of that I paid $25, which is just insult to injury.

I love the food at this place, it has a unique touch and is very affordable.
Friendly counter service for ordering. We had the shrimp spring rolls and they were delicious. The pho broth was very flavorful and aromatic with a subtle sweetness. I definitely recommend it!

I'll start by saying that they really make very good food. Usually. This time I ordered the Tofu Garlic Egg Noodle Mi Xao Toi Đâu Hu. It was supposed to have broccoli, napa cabbage and bok choy. There was ONE tiny broccoli floret, two pieces of bok choy and maybe two or three tiny pieces of cabbage over day old noodles with 6 tiny pieces of tofu. Totally let down.

Ordered via UberEats and was somewhat disappointed. Very bare utensils were included (no chopsticks at a pho place?), and even the dishes were somewhat bare; the egg noodle dish I got barely had any sauce in it and looked very flimsy. For the amount I paid, I was very disappointed, but the food was tasty, for sure. Very underwhelming.
