I wrote a google review, I received a response saying my account was fake - I ordered a matcha drink that was prepared in front of me and I saw the low grade matcha used - I also ordered a hot peach tea and when it cooled down to drink it there was no taste, I took the lid off and didn’t find a tea bag - that’s how tea is made - I basically got hot water - I wasn’t able to respond to the review but I did edit my review to mention that it’s not a fake review and a few months ago I gave a 5 star rating to my dentist

I needed to customize a birthday cake for my friend and came across this bakery on Instagram.So far I've tried the pulled pork ube cake and matcha crepe. The cake tastes delicious, light and puffy. The crepe, on the other hand, needs a bit sweeter for my taste.They serve coffee/tea in vintage sets that elaborates your experience here. A nice cozy place for an afternoon tea.

(This is only about her class) I signed up for 1/17 class which was cancelled due to the freeze. The owner reached out via email about the cancellation. I asked if she can just applied for 1/24 class. She told me it’s a decorating class and to let her know. I replied back and said that is fine. 1/24 drove to her shop to find out she wasn’t even there and her assistant told me there would not be a class since no one signed up for it. I understand as a business owner you are busy but can’t be that busy to see your email. I had to arrangement my morning to come to this class and was so excited. So if you sign up or even order a cake you better make sure.
And ever since the invention of reviews. I think this is my second negative review. I normally never ever write a review.

As yet I haven't visited La Plume to have their delicious looking food. I love the posted photos. My sweet tooth is screaming at me to get my self over there. The photos of the interior show a charming, classy, fun place to go to indulge that sweet tooth of mine. I'll update this preliminary review after I have my much anticipated visit for coffee and dessert!

Excellent Asian style French pastries. The place is small and has nice atmosphere, but it was busy when we visited so we weren't as comfortable as we wanted to be.

The absolute best cakes in town. Their strawberries and cream is to die for. Bought a whole cake to share with my in-laws and they could not stop raving about it. Don't walk - run to try out their delicious coffee and cakes.

Gorgeous little bakery and cafe! I had the matcha crepe cake, which was superb! I love matcha so I wish it had a little more matcha flavor, but it was very good nonetheless. I also had an iced honey latte which was great- I loved the flavor of the espresso with the honey. The bakery’s inside is aesthetic and a lovely place to study. A shame it’s so far. The customer service is superb here, and everyone is so kind. Excited to try everything else.

French theme and exquisite taste. I had the almond croissant and a decaf cappuccino. More and more places are not offering decaf, so it’s really nice to be able to order one and with the latte art as well. The taste was amazingly delicate and delicious. I also tried the mini caneli which is a new pastry they are now offering. It was amazing. Crunchy on the outside and like pudding on the inside. Definitely a wonderful treat with a cappuccino.I got to meet the owner (it’s always nice when the owner is in the line helping customers.) you always get that special attention because they are invested into their business. She just opened her cafe 1 year ago. She started baking as a hobby, then friends and neighbors started asking her to bake for them and it grew into owning her very own bakery/cafe.La Plume also specializes in custom cakes and pastries for events and parties.

A very nice coffee shop with European cf style. As a coffee drinker, I think the drinks here were ok, but not too special. However, they know how to decorate and make drink look pretty. Cake was really good and having so many options. However, this place is kinda small for those who wanna sit down and enjoy.

A charming fusion of French and Japanese cafe elements! The honey osmanthus latte is a must-try, complementing their freshly made cakes and desserts. Ample parking, friendly staff--perfect for a delightful experience. Cutest interior design and decor, lots of tables and plenty of seating. A new favorite coffeeshop!

Came across this bakery doing a random google search for desserts near Memorial. I have officially discovered THE BEST dessert in all of Houston. The Rose Crepe Cake is incredible. I cannot wait to go back to get some more.
