NO LIES!!!! Today is March 29, 2024 and these people gave me hard fish and hard shrimp over fried and i spent $16 dollars for a small portion it’s just not worth it AT ALL!!! It stinks when you first walk in it’s ridiculous plus they only had tilapia they completely ran out of fish TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE and i only stay 3 mins from this place WHEN I SAY NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

My first, only & will be my last visit to Le #2 Seafood on Antoine Dr was terrible. I ordered a catfish & shrimp combo plate with cajun rice & a side of fries. I initially asked what fish they had & was told catfish & tilapia. I asked was the catfish actual catfish or swai & was told catfish. When I got to the car, I tasted my food. The fish was definitely not catfish. I know catfish. I fry catfish quite often. I've been eating & frying catfish for over 40 years. The fish was slick & gel like on the inside not flaky like catfish. Also the fries were greasy & tasted fishy & the shrimp was hard. Of course I couldn't get a refund. What a waste of money. I'll never go back & definitely won't recommend Le #2 Seafood to anyone. Also I went to the restroom to wash my hands & it look like it should have been condemned. The sink & toilet was so disgusting. They were so filthy tgat Ialmost gagged. Had I seen that before I placed my order, I would have walked away without buying anything. I have a good mind to report them to the proper agency to inspect the fish they claim to sell & the health department for that restroom. I could glance back into the kitchen area every now & then & it looked clean from what I could see. I wish zero stars was an available rating.

The fish, shrimp and shrimp& crawfish rice was delicious. And oh yea, the homemade tarter sauce is suuuuuuper delicious ?I put that ish on everything!!!!

Pickup order was horrible. Fries and fish cold and soggy. Food had been sitting so long the entire to-go bag was wet inside from where the steam wet the bag as the food sat there getting cold, soggy and downright nasty. Will never ever eat this garbage again.

What can I say? This restaurant has been around for quite some time, since before I left Houston in 2008 to return in 2019. I remember the fish being fried fresh and crispy. Today I had the chicken, fried crispy, extra seasoning. I'm sure that with the many years that has passed that the cook has either changed or gotten much older and can't flick the wrist like they once used to because it doesn't taste the same. The taste is in no way bad, but it's just not that finger licking, get back I'm not sharing, another serving please, type of flavor from 2006-2008. I will always return, but I think I'll stick to the fish. Love you Le2
