Local food made from white mill . Very delicious food so called maandazi in swahili language. Maandazi as a breakfast among many occupants in coastal regions including Tanga, Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam and Mombasa

The food was DELICIOUS. We had the meatball sub and a kids pasta (we asked for marinara on the side for a picky child) and it was delish. Great service too! The last time I went we had chili cheese tater tots with a house salad and strawberry cake so so good. Will be back!

I can't say how many times I've been here, but every single time, I've enjoyed my meal & the ambiance! This location is fantastic and has plenty of free parking! Indoor and outdoor dining. The shop connected next door has so many cool things to browse through, I feel like I'd be there all day! I have probably had everything on their menu, including the specials... so yummy. I love their harvest salads!

Crunchy chicken with the potato chips or potato salad and the daily fruit (you just have to ask what it is for the day. But omg when it's the watermelon-- heaven). I also really like their pozole which is the green style with chicken. I have been coming to this location for at least 6-7 years and I have been a fan since my first visit. I recently returned and was shocked by all the new renovations. It's beautiful and I think they bought the shop adjacent to them, making this location nearly double the size. Also, there is brand new seating outside that is nicely shaded and is fun even on a hot day. Pro tip: most of the servers who bring the food are Latinos who speak Spanish and are super friendly. They love it when Latinos greet them in Spanish!

Solid sandwich with good ingredients but personally I've had better sandwiches. The bread is very good and there's a lot of turkey but it could use some more sauce and seasoning. The inside is cute and has nice lighting. Probably would come back one more time. Rating-

This place was such a treat!! Wasn't expecting it to be this good at all. And the food was also amazing!! For all of you vegans out there, they have an excellent vegan menu. Ended up getting the quinoa burger. I wanted the vegan chili as a side as numerous people were raving about on Yelp but they had run out, and so ended up going for the vegan cashew tomato bisque soup which was nothing short of spectacular!! The Quinoa Burger was so delicious and on-point I've never tasted anything like it. Below are some pictures. Coming from Austin, this was such a surprise. But then again we are talking about Rice Village here. They have a couple of patios, a huge sit-in dining area, shopping similar to Whole Foods and a winery upstairs. There is also a very chill bar right next door for anyone wanting to grab a pint. Would highly recommend!!! Also their Vegan Queso and Vegan Carrot Cake were really good!!

Now that it is remodeled, there isn't that pressure to find a seat. I usually get the seafood sandwich. My husband likes the shawarma bowl,. The tea is good and everything is really clean. To go orders are done quickly and packed well. It's not cheap. You're in the wrong place for that! They will customize your order but don't count on it being right. Every time i order no seeds, I get seeds. So I skip anything that would need customizing.
