Since you asked and think "you're not alone". Your frozen drink machine was broken, the drink I did have from the bar (blue hypnotic something or another) was not good in my opinion (the favors didn't mix well), the food was salty, crab soup was white, not peach, not off-white, white - It also was mostly heavy cream to taste, no favor. The gumbo was crunchy - yes, crunchy, the nacho oyster things were covered in so much buffalo sauce I could taste nothing else and lastly, we were the only table and the food took 45 minutes to come out. Sorry for my experience?I give honest reviews and I think my profile reflects that. I hope you also see a lot of the places I have given low stars to are also no longer in business. We only tried it because it was on a list my husband came across, so clearly other people enjoyed it, I didn't. I hope this is accurate enough for you. All the best!

The Quality and Portions of the various seafood items I ordered over two different occasions was impressive. The fried shrimp rivals Christie's. The stuffed crab was the best I have ever had in my 50 years of memorable seafood dining. And all praises go to the manager, Gary. Gary was so intent on providing customers with great service that when I called about an item that was not in my order, he offered to double the order and actually bring it to my home. Gary deserves the Medal of Honor for restaurant managers. With their quality food, great portions and real value, there should be a line around the block every day for this neighborhood gem. Bravo ?.

This is a true hidden gem!! I called my order in around 4:15pm to be picked up around 8:15pm. I arrived around 8:13pm, and I only waited about 2 minutes to get the food. The manager was exponentially polite and professional. The food is amazing! The atmosphere is great, quiet, and friendly. I will definitely recommend Low Tide to friends and family, and I will be returning again and again!

Traveling, looked for seafood that wasn't all Cajun or Asian or Mexican. This place did the job. Had a good shrimp po boy. Place is clean, and I saw locals there.

Spent $ 40 on 2 catfish and shrimp dinners to go. When I got back to my office and opened our boxes we noticed that we got 3 TINY little shrimp and a SUPER THIN SALTY catfish filet on each order. Also, they overloaded my to go boxes with a ton of soggy fries and undercooked hush puppies...TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT and WASTE of money...Very very sad . Won't be back.

This was our first time here and the food and service were excellent. Our entire table ordered the Marth & Mary Duo (Catfish and shrimp). It was beautifully presented and tasted even better. It a large portion so if two people arent super hungry they could easily share this plate. It comes with fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. I actually wish there was a smaller portion and then I would have tried dessert. They have some yummy sounding homemade dessert options. It was quiet inside which made for great table conversation. Sometimes waiters can be too hovering or non existent when its slow but our waiter was perfect. We will definitely be back.
