This place is pretty effing cool. Today was only my 4th or so time in here in as many years. Reasonable booze prices, excellent service, clean well-stocked bathroom, and super-cool regulars (kind of an older crowd)---what more could you ask for? I'm in here during happy hour --- $4.25 Shiner and $2.75 Lone Star longnecks. This place is a gem! I have to remember to get in here whenever I'm on Hempstead Rd. Thanks Olivia for taking such good care of me!!!

Been there to check out karaoke night twice, the first time it was the wrong day. It appears it's on and off again. Prices here are good, folks friendly, however business practices are very lacking. If you like cigarette smoke this place is for you. It's not very good business practice to allow smoking inside the bar. Less than 20% of the adult population smokes. They have a nice patio area smokers can go to. Instead, they turn away potential customers who do not want to have smoke blown in their faces and on their clothes, nor sit in a smoke-filled room. I realize they are catering to regulars, but this will not improve their business. I guess they are so afraid of upsetting the regulars they will rather open the doors to air the place out.
