We had a reservation for 5 people and called a couple hours before to ask if we can come 30 minutes later. The host said they can only do table for 4 if it's 30 minutes earlier or a table for 5 two hours later. Since one is a baby we took the table for 4. When we came, there was literally ONE party of 2 dining. The place was completely empty. It wasn't until at least 1 hour later that another customer arrived. Terrible host to say the least. And for the food, nothing memorable that I would come back for. Neither flavor or presentation impressed us, especially for the price.

Saw this on Instagram and went with family to check it out. Incredible ambiance and display of food. The food tastes great (nothing to die for) but we loved the presentation of the dishes, deserts and cocktails. It was nice that they had small boards for special occassion writings. Highly recommended to try at least once!

Shrimp was half cooked and smelled so bad all food smelled like eggs nothing fresh all vegetables we preheated probably cooked a week ago before served and whenever we complained they made the biggest scenes by getting all managers supervisors never seen a restaurant handling a complain this aggressive way

The ambiance is ok, friendly staffs, and goods are average. The eggcellent mousse were presented on an egg container, throw me off a little for a fancy restaurant dining. Mousse tasted like air, nothing impressive with few dried shrimps on a bottom. The hot basil mussels was decent. For the Tom Yum Goong bisque, it had big and nice shrimp but didn't taste fresh, the mushrooms cut in big chunks but totally undercooked, and they used small tomatoes, definitely doesn't look hearty like picture on the menu. Soft shell crab papaya salad is ok, papaya wasn't fresh and crunchy enough, and had only 1 small fried soft shell crab as a garnish. Majestic Ocean Medley crystal noodles was the best out of whole meals. Overall, if you expect a real authentic Thai restaurant, this is far from it.

This place is fabulous. The food is amazing, very authentic Thai recipes and presentation. Even the decor is on point for a Thailand fine dining venue, all the way down to the dishes. The menu has clear allergen labeling which is amazing to see, and everything we ordered was as beautiful as it was delicious. I will say our bill was lower because we don't drink, but with a few cocktails the price will definitely add up quick.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options (and all food allergens) are clearly labeled on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Allergens are clearly noted on each menu option and staff are knowledgeable about ingredients in each dish.Parking: Not much parking but there is a parking garage nearby that you can use and walk from. Limited nearby street parking is also available within reasonable walking distance.Kid-friendliness: If you have super picky eaters this may not be the place for them, but the venue is cool and I've seen families with kids eating here.Wheelchair accessibility: Reasonably accessible, but could definitely use a couple more handicapped parking spaces.

Was here to celebrate my father’s birthday and it was a great experience. Chris was fantastic host and will definitely be back.
We went to Makiin for a dinner party.1. The waitress was extremely clumsy and she dropped a whole drink on the table ruining my husbands phone with his credit cards and his glasses. We didnt want to create a fuss about it because we were invited guests. But much to our surprise the management didnt even come to ask anything about the damage they had caused. Now we have a ruined credit cards, phone and glasses.2. My husband had ordered a vegan dish but had insisted to add eggs to it.We confirmed the order with the waiter and he said he had noted down. But when the order came it had no eggs and they kept saying its blended, as if we are blind and dont know how does blended eggs look like.Makiin ruined our evening!
