So first let me just say this place not only provided the BEST MOST AMAZING Customer Service ever the food was soooooo good had my mouth watering literally. Everything from the moment I walked in the restaurant to being greeted so professionally and with respect the gentleman who took our order was so helpful he provided us details of what items were on the menu and then samples of the hot sauce for our wings before we ordered and our food was freshly cooked and it was no wait at all like we had a front row seats at the best restaurant in Houston. The Astros were in the playoffs so I got to watch the game and eat good. It was a win win I really enjoyed every moment and bite. I went 2x within my stay over 2 weeks it was yummy. The good vibes inside as well the art and the pictures and paintings have you vibes of different cities and times of the world it was really cool. I wish I could've took some to go in my carryon! Lol even leaving the employee wished a safe travel and rest of our weekend. I can't wait to go back and get more and share with all my family and friend if you're HTX make sure you try Midwest Coney Connection 10/10!!!!!

So we were in Houston and wanted hot dogs, OMG this place rocks. We had hot dogs, meltdowns loaded fries. (They're twice fried French fries, with chili, cheese, onions, jalapenos) (which swmbo can't have) and Philly egg rolls. The service was awesome and I couldn't have felt more welcome. When I come back down to Houston this will be my to go to place to eat.

Before I even get to the food, everyone who works at Midway Coney Connection is so unbelievably nice, I would go back for the service alone! But as a wing connoisseur (wings are my absolute favorite food) this place as my stamp of approval for wings as well. I got the Motown Special which is 6 wings and chili cheese fries. I got the lemon pepper and they were flavorful and juicy. The chili cheese fries were probably the best I've had in a while! I wholeheartedly recommend coming here if you want a good meal surrounded by awesome people!

"Hello Detroit, you won my heart" those who know, know what I'm singing. That is what I was singing after visiting this spot! I have heard lot of good reviews and I was finally able to get here. This place right here brings me back home. The chili dog is right on point of the Detroit coney I get when I come home. Let start with the wings - nice and crunchy like I like them, and moist. The lemon pepper seasoning was not over powering. French fries were good but I should of made those a chili fries. Now let's get to the coney dog, they chili sauce on top is very flavorful. I have been to other place that say the coney dogs taste like the ones from Detroit, this place has hit it on the nail!!! The service was great the own came out letting the customers know that there food will be ready soon. Letting us know that food is cook to order so you know you are getting it fresh. He was very nice and so was the staff. They carry the staples from home. Better made chips and Faygo. The next on the list to try is a Boston cooler (ice cream and Vernon's another Detroit staple). Check out the menu, they do offer various hot dogs and wings.

A very solid little place. Orders are placed at the counter and there is plenty of clean and comfortable seating.This is now my new go-to place for hot dogs. They use very high-quality halal beef hot dogs and there are a wonderful array of toppings from the standard coney dog to Flint, Detroit and Big Gip. They also have wings and fries.
Everything is BUSSIN !! from the wings to the hotdogs to ..... THEM WINGS !!! . Might as well try to see if they have a gift card to put money into because you will not go there only JUST ONCE , after you tried their food . Very kind staff . And the place is kept very well clean .

I went to this place because a guy said it was amazing! & boy was he right This was one good chili dog i had to get two. I could roost the first one because i ate it so fast! the prices are very reasonable my aunt & I got the one on one it comes with two dogs & fries, we ended up getting one more because it was that darn good! the service was amazing the guy who helped us was very polite & he knew his stuff. also he came over & asked us how our food was excellent customer service skills! the atmosphere was cool wish the air was on a little higher but i can say in Texas it has been hotter than normal. the music was good ol r&b can never go wrong with that. the con to my overall experience was how they didn't have any napkins & there wasn't any hand soap when we got there my aunt had to ask for some. other than that everything else was superior.

As a native Detroiter (Grosse Pointe) I must say Midwest has done a nice job of recreating some of the tastes from my past. Good job...Now if White Castle opens up in H-town my journey will be complete...
