On Aoril 26, 2024, Friday evening we dinned at Morton's (Galleria) and, was impartially treated, disrespected, and dismissed by the Assistant Manager, Patrick. This man is totally a racist, hatred person. He had no customer greetings to "black" patrons. We watch this Patrck as he welcomed all patrons in the room except us (view your footage). I'm sure this place is monitored. We expressed our disbelief to your staff. If Morton can't respect "blacks" in its establishment. You should display a sign saying "NO BLACKS ALLOWED, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME". This was my first and last visit. MORTON'S IS A RACIST ESTABLISHMENT AND IT SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED AS SO. It is so much hatred out here and that "Patrick" is one. Watch the people you hire. It's far too late to have racism when you dine or anywhere else. When will this stop? WE ARE ALL HUMAN AND SHOULD BE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND KINDNESS. TILMAN FETTERIA (sic) should be ashamed of his staff"s behavior. They didn't have a problem receiving our money. So what's the problem? This issue should be addressed immediately.

The food was good, restaurant was beautiful. But one of the servers Nat, was RUDE and messed up our evening. This is a racist restaurant because I don’t see why my friends and I especially the birthday girl should be treated with such disrespect even after securing a private room to get the best service. Nat is a Racist, Rude and Disrespectful, we noticed his behavior at first and stayed kind and nice, yet he wouldn’t stop. I really wanted my friend to have a good time celebrating her birthday, but her night was ruined. If you are Black, you might want to reconsider going here.

I came into the restaurant for an event with a large group and the serving staff was very accommodating. However I can sense that the culture there was shady. On my way to the restroom I witness a white manager talk extremely harshly to one one of the black servers with dreadlock hair and he looked distraught shortly after I went to inquire of his name and the manager's name is Ryan. when I asked to speak with the server that was being spoken to unfairly I was informed that he has left for the evening. which is odd considering it was shortly after 7 pm. so my guess is that he was probably fired. I pulled another server to the side and asked how is his treatment here. I will leave that person nameless because I know it's a tough market to find a job and I don't want this individual to lose his job. but this server is white and insinuated that management can appear prejudice. that there is a high turnover that he himself is leaving the industry to chase his passions that most recently two servers left all for the same reason morale. while I don't know the pressures of being African American in the workforce but I am ashamed of my race as a whole I hope that young man can find a good fit. and I will not be spending my dollars in that place. there's plenty of steakhouses in the city of Houston. do NOT spend your money at Morton'syou can see the entire kitchen from the dining room as it is an open face kitchen. They're not gluten or pork sensitive friendly there as they fry everything in one fryer. The price point is the same all over town so if you want to treat yourself to a steak night. I'd go to the new hip steakhouses around town. Perry's Brenan's B&B, Morton's all old school. like a retirement home. no singles, no exciting happy hour, when you walk in there it's like a mortuary. youre not really excited to spend money there. don't even get me started about their cocktails. If im spending 20$ for a cocktail I at least would not like my drink free poured. please measure your drinks to insure consistency. That place is a prejudicial zoo.

You have to be careful when ordering a dish, first ask the size because some are very large, especially the pasta, if you are not a large person, each dish can be for up to 3 people!!But the food is definitely good! The delicious and fresh turkey sandwich! The strawberry soothie is excellent, be sure to order it!!

Fantastic service. Out here on business and came a couple of nights in a row. Attentive, knowledgeable, and engaging. If you have the opportunity to visit, I’d absolutely recommend without hesitation.

Great experience and if you can get Paul as your server....try! Very charismatic, welcoming, and had answers to all of our menu and drink questions. Went there for my son's birthday and enjoyed it.

The service took forever literally a couple of times we all had to wave for a little attention. Appetizers were just about acceptable, but the sides were a disaster and no one on the table finished the mains.

I Had a quaint birthday dinner here and was blown away by not just the steaks, which were cooked to perfection, but the stellar service that set the place apart. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like VIPs, nailing every recommendation and timing each course flawlessly. It's clear they've got the art of hospitality down to a science. If you're after a spot where the meals are as outstanding as the service, Morton’s is a sure bet. A top-notch dining experience that's definitely worth raving about.

The valet didn't acknowledge us. Didn't open our door. Actually had to ask if he was the valet. When we left same experience. Just handed me my keys and walked away:/ Really set the mood for our dinner. Once inside the waiter asked what kind of water we wanted but then proceeded to never bring it. We asked again and still never got water. Food was ok.

Came here with my husband and the food was pretty good. But to be honest, the next night we went to The Grand Lux Cafe across the parking lot and it was better food for less than 1/2 the price. I don’t mind the higher prices, if the food and service is to that standard, but it just wasn’t. The Service at Morton’s was ok, but the bartender seemed to be the only one really giving it his best. Several people were just standing around. The bartender was tending bar AND waiting tables within the bar and the dining room. He was super nice and very helpful, but he was stretched pretty thin. Overall an ok experience, but not 5 stars.

We brought our friends for their first time and they are hooked. This is our favorite Morton's. We live closer to the one downtown but prefer the Galleria one. Service was amazing, food is always incredible, and love the ambiance. I celebrate my birthday here every year.

It was overall very average,The filet was dry and not well seasoned or buttered. Bacon appetizer was better... but's it bacon, so it should be.The service was OK - not particularly warm or welcoming. It seemed as if everyone was just going thru the motions - the atmosphere was muted. The valet for the car was not well dressed or professional - I'm not trying to be over critical, but for a high end steakhouse, they should do better.I'd not go back - the steakhouse competition is significant in Texas; they need to better the experience.

Food and service were great! Enjoyed the marinated prime Cajun ribeye but REALLY REALLY enjoyed the miso sea bass. Great service. Good ambiance. Overall a great experience. Priced pretty fairly for a steakhouse.
