Never actually been to this establishment but I have taken several couples here. They say its always booked solid but totally worth the effort to get in. I've heard they have great food.

Love how Neo pays attention to the smallest details to ensure a fine dining experience. The staff were attentive and respectful, Chef was knowledgeable and talented, and food was incredible. We went on 3/4/24 for the Sushi Omakase and our favorites were Masu, Madai Crudo, Maitake, and the Maguro Handroll. Highly recommend!

The most incredible dining experience you're gonna have in Houston. Everything is so meticulously thought out and every detail executed perfectly. It is truly exquisite but honestly not stuffy! The team couldn't be nicer. The entire experience was incredible. I can't recommend enough!

Dare I say best omakase in Houston. I’ve tried many in Houston but this is the one I definitely would go back to. If you want to impress your date, this is the place to go. Everywhere else is ordinary when it comes to omakase thus far.

Outstanding! Every course is creative, delicious, and well executed. Service is friendly, thoughtful, yet unpretentious. Well paced flow of complimentary cava and sake. We had a great time! Only area of potential improvement is procurement of European ingredients (caviar is mushy and truffle lacks flavor) -- minor flaws in the context of such a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommended!

Neo is the greatest omakase experience you will get in Texas. At this hidden gem in Houston, all 18 courses are prepared right in front of you and you can see the detail put into Chef Neo's exquisite dishes. You're bound to try a new thing here, whether that be banana ice cream with caviar (Yes I said that right) or strawberries on salmon. You're in for a culinary experience at Neo and you can come more than once as the menu changes every month.

This is in the middle of a residential neighborhood, and in a clothing store. In the back, through a door, is the omakase 10 seat counter experience. The itamae made a short speech and our service began. The knife skills were on point, service was on point and our meal was outstanding. Our menu for the night was: Maguro Crudo ~ Green strawberries Madai ~ Japanese Sea Bream Kampachi ~ Hokkaido Salmon Roe Sawara ~ Japanese King Mackerel Chutoro ~ Medium Fatty Bluefin Tuna Maine Uni ~ Sea Urchin Sepia Salae ~ Squid Garum Kinome Norwegian Blue Lobster Unagi ~ Fresh Water Eel A5 Wagyu Maitake ~ Hen of the Woods House Fermented Kombucha Cappalletti ~Butternut Squash, Pecorino Truffle Sando ~ Jamon Mamey Ice Cream ~ Pecans, Pixtle Oil Goma Dofu ~ Wasanbon, Sesame Seeds Everything tasted fresh and it was an interesting fusion of flavors near the end of the meal. We paired our meal with Joy Junmai Ginju Genshi sake. I really enjoyed my meal here. Who knew that this clothing store had such an astonishing omakase in the back? Highly recommended!!

Man this is a few years really late, but ive been back multiple times and theyve never disappointed. Also a few times where work made me miss a reservation and they were very understanding in getting me rescheduled rather than just charging me. Highly recommend.

So hard to pick a favorite dish, every plate was so delicious and special!

Hands down the most inventive and best sushi in Houston. Expected quality and service at the eye-popping price point. Would love to come more often, but a pricey (and somewhat decadent experience). Outclasses and outperforms other notable Houston sushi locales (IE Uchi, MF, Kata, etc).

This is a hidden gem in Houston. Yes it is a bit pricey but when you're celebrating a special accomplishment or a birthday is all worth it!! The staff was super personable and ensured they connect with the customers, which I find so nice. Highly recommend sake pairings with the courses but it is also BYOB if you arent into sake. They explain each tasting prior to serving the dish.
