The hostess at the front desk was rude and had the IQ of a rock. Her name was Nia. I understand it was a busy day, but we got there before the surge and needed to be informed about table availability. Her professionalism was nonexistent, and she acted as if she had the keys to the kingdom. I kept my cool for my parents' sake and stayed. She needs to learn that she works at a leading restaurant chain and not Walmart or the DMV. I never accept below par service, and that's what I received as soon as I got in the door. Everything else was fine. Our waitress did a good job, and the food was on point.

It was my birthday and I hadn't had them in a while. Food was fantastic, great portions, correct temperature! Although my order was to-go the employees were polite at the counter. Conveniently located off I-10E. Lots of parking/handicap.

I was just at the restaurant with my office staff for our yearly meeting when we all get together and enjoy that the tax season is over, and they would not budge at all to accommodate all 13 of us in the same table. I refused to get split tables since this was a business meeting and I want all staff together. We have been going to this place every year and never had an issue until this year. I am VERY disappointed. I decided to tell my staff to leave and go elsewhere instead where we CAN sit altogether. We will not be having our meetings there anymore!

I went to Pappadeaux’s off of I-10 East, zip code 77015 on Sunday, May 5th., to place a to go order. I called three times, but never got an answer. The first two times, I stayed on the phone for 4 minutes, with the phone disconnecting each time. The third time that I called, I stayed on the phone for nine minutes, with no one answering, so I finally went inside to place my order. There was no one at the to go area, so I waited about three minutes and someone finally showed up to take my order. After I paid for my food, I went back to my vehicle and waited another 16 minutes before my food finally came.

I don't even know where to begin but here goes. There really was not a wait to be seated but it did seem to be busy. Once seated Jaylon came along to introduce himself. I am very picky when ordering a drink but when I explained to Jaylon what I wanted, his suggestion was phenomenal. My drink was so delicious. Same goes for entree option, he did the same along with make assuring the back kitchen of my food allergies. He was so great at everything. I spoke to Mr. Woods (manager of the night) about the entire experience. Both Mr. Woods and Jaylon made our overall the entire experience was PERFECT!!! I am coming back and hope to see them there for another wonderful experience.

I eat here and order to go about 2-3 times a month because the food is usually good. This particular time there were 2 long strands of hair in my husband Mardi Gras pasta that was ordered about an hour prior to closing. The pasta wasn’t ate until after closing because it was dinner for him after work. When I asked for a refund the next day since I paid cash I have to wait 7-10 business days for a letter and no for sure gift card or refund wow it’s absurd!

We ordered a strawberry lemonade, and a drink called the 3 wheel motion Large size. I ordered the crispy salmon & jumbo crab minus the crushed peanuts. My man ordered the sampler platter which comes with fried catfish, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, fried crawfish, and French fries. Absolutely delicious!

I love this place wish we had one in baton rouge Louisiana but I still travel to Texas for this place I enjoy everything about this restaurant every time I go there its the same feeling, feeling of love and self satisfaction!! Terrible wait staff. Everything was late. Odd, because it was not busy. Waiter constant excuses. Waiter had to be asked to take menu from table, waiter did not clear table. Pappadeaux used to include oysters with seafood platter, and now they charge an extra $7 for oysters. When we complained about the small oysters, the waiter replied, its inflation. Please train your waiters! Pappadeaux just lost a life long customer. For the money, eat else where.
