We ordered fried catfish and it was unseasoned and overcooked along with the fries. The bartender did a great job with the drinks, and the waiter was friendly. I’ll try another location as far as food. I’ll only come to this location for drinks.

I ordered the half dozen oysters. The guy opening oysters DOES NOT LIKE OYSTERS. He opens them, dumps off the oyster juice and flushes them with water. EEEEEW. Eliminates any taste of "oyster". I sent them back and told the waiter that the prep guy should NOT be allowed to touch oysters. The rest of the meal was FANTASTIC!!! ai had the grouper cooked with the shrimp and crab. Almost enough to make me forget the Ouster debacle. I

Service once seated was great but it took over 35 minutes to be seated and I saw people who came on the waitlist after me be seated which was very frustrating. Personally I didn’t like the dirty rice. But I requested the carrot and pistachio side and that was amazing. Everything else was good, it lacked a bit in seasoning but overall an okay experience.

My daughter and I are visiting from Vermont for the First World Championship for Robotics. So far, everywhere we went for food was disappointing. Pappadeaux's was the game changer. Our team kept winning matches, so I had to change our reservation 3 TIMES! Paisley and Paris were MVPs and made it happen. The service was great, the food was ever greater! Highly recommend!

Pappadeaux has a strong brand. This location did not disappoint. I enjoyed the Spring/Summer drink menu, the two I tried were fresh and delicious, light on syrups which I personally enjoy. I ordered the Pasta Mardi Gras, it was a great portion for the price. I loved that I could get the dish without mushrooms. Good flavor and a slight spice. It really was two meals. Great service and decent atmosphere in DT Houston.
