Horrible experience at this location the food was not even warm when I received it and the sides were Luke warm at best and the waitstaff wanted to play on there phone and not give any service to anyone coming in to the restaurant just Horrible service and experience sent to much money on dinner 3 adults 80$ wish I could give -5stars review

First let me say...food is amazing always. Now my complaint, I bought 100$ worth of meat only to have to go back in to get pickles,onions and jalapenos (free) and this is regular for my family and I spend this much maybe twice a month. This time took the cake! 2 tiny cups of sauce for all that meat. Super disappointed ?♀️

Within a fairly short walk from Fairfield Inn at Hobby Airport is Pappa’s Bar-B-Q. It’s situated on Gulf Freeway too. Well, we walked there for our evening meal after arrival at Hobby Airport. The folks running the place are super friendly and helpful. Both of us chose chopped barbecued brisket sandwiches. The savory tenderness of that chopped beef brisket stimulated spontaneous salivation and overall satisfaction, The goodness of those two sandwiches is well beyond any similar barbecued beef that I have tasted. The portions were quite generous and a truly good value for the money. We shall visit Pappa’s again, on our next travel to Houston.

Very good option to eat with the family, I ordered the Family Board and it is more than enough for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 small children). They have 3 different BBQ sauces (habanero, mustard and sweet) that are very delicious. I'll be back.

I usually love papas and my go-to order is the chopped beef baked potatoes and order fries well this time i decided to buy a rack of baby back ribs which were atrocious most of the ribs were tough and chewy i spent over 35$ on that which was a total waste i will not return. ?

Literally just got food poisoned from eating the chicken breast I’m still sick fever abdominal pain and severe diarrhea I went there for dinner seems like they where rushing because the line was long got my chicken sandwich ate it and got super sick they need to learn how to fully cook their food and don’t rush because ppl can get severely sick !!never again will I eat pappas BBq on 45 and Monroe again .
