This place has gone downhill. The food is not good. The tenders have gotten smaller, the batter was burned, and the taste was just grease. The service was horrible. We didn’t get drinks until our food came. Save your money and go elsewhere. Not worth the price at all…

First time here. Fried shrimp was so bland. No salt or anything. Was slightly undercooked and chewy. Blackberry cobbler had not so many blackberries, alot of high fructose filler substance. Crust was hard not flaky. Personally this was my first and last visit.

I loved the old Pappy's. This was my 1st time coming to the newer location and it did not disappoint. However, we got seated at the end of the place and it was loud and rowdy. Food was great and service was excellent.

It's so nice to get great home style food at a non-chain family style place. Highly recommend the deluxe grilled chicken sandwich. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. Personal service no machine ordering or app just old fashioned good food and good service
I have been here several times with the family. Every time it has been great. The hamburgers, chicken fried steak, house salad with honey lime vinaigrette, and both blackberry and peach cobblers are worth trying.
It is 2024. Post covid and all. If you want to go, you will wait. Even if you wanted to tip, you will wait, cause the bar staff and the host staff work for in-house regulars, not you whoever you are on the phone trying to place a to go order. Do not bother trying to give this place any to go orders. Even if you are there to dine in, you are served by your size and they are cut throat about it. Obviously a business only in it for money. And just like that, I will never ever order from them again. Even if I am wrong, the owner and management need to figure out how to take a phone order faster than someone can drive to this place and place the damn order in person.
