If you're into Middle Eastern groceries and live in Houston, you’ve got to check out Phoenicia Specialty Foods on Westheimer Rd. This location offers a broader selection compared to its downtown counterpart at 1001 Austin St, making it a go-to for those in search of a diverse array of goods. This store shines with its variety of Arabic and Persian grocery items. They’ve got everything from Arabic to Persian items. The bread selection is acceptable, and they even have Kashk, which is super hard to find in regular stores. The setup is like a mini Costco—everything’s stacked high and easy to see, which is super helpful. Modeled on a much smaller scale akin to Costco, the store’s layout is a warehouse-style design where goods are efficiently stacked on top of each other, making the most of the space. This layout not only contributes to an interesting shopping experience but also makes it easy to spot different items from a variety of angles.Additionally, Phoenicia does not limit its offerings to just groceries. The store also features a range of kitchenware and some homeware, adding an extra layer of convenience for shoppers looking to grab various household items alongside their groceries.Besides groceries, they also have kitchenware and a few home goods. It's like one-stop shopping if you need a few things for the house too. Definitely swing by if you’re looking to spice up your meals with some authentic Middle Eastern flavors or just want to browse some cool, hard-to-find items. Worth the trip!

The Tiramisu is not as sweet as the one from Lasagna House. The Turkish Stick of preserved fruits were very Sweet for myself. There are many varieties of olive oil n they’re cheaper than H‑E‑B.However, I tried a kabob chef’s plate and the cucumber salad tasted old.

First time shopping at this establishment, and it was amazing. Picked up some fresh vegetables for a great price and even grabbed lunch by the butcher section. My wife and I drove from Cypress, and we will support this establishment at least once a month.

Great selection of Lebanese and other Mediterranean foods. The facility feels old and somewhat cluttered. The parking is the same, adequate but cluttered.

The best place to buy spices. Hard to find items are usually found but watch the expiration dates on some canned products.
Good idea, but some of the food had mold on it, right off the store
Cashiers need training all over. How to to be respectful and have manners.
Very good shopping store ❤️
