After being recommended this place I stopped by after work to check it out. I ordered the chicken ramen. It was so bitter I couldn’t even finish the bowl. I thought maybe they just burnt something when they made the chicken broth that day, but seeing the other reviews of a burnt bitter taste from the chicken broth says otherwise.

One of the best ramen restaurants in Houston. The veggie ramen is pretty good.

Haven’t been here for 2 years until couple weeks ago. Always loved their ramen but on our last visit, my broth was watery and my wife’s broth tasted okay. So you know it’s not cooked the right way. Also we can tell the chashu was boiled in water, no flavor at all. Decoration changed a bit so I’m guessing a new owner? It was a Friday night and the place was nearly empty. It used to be a queue every time we went. Be your own judge. Bottom line, taking too much shortcut to save a few bucks and losing businesses.

I used to love this place but haven't been back in 4 months because of life. The ramen broth used to be very flavorful but now it is just plain and boring. Sad to see another ramen place dumbing it down.Update: I went back again after a while and their soup is still the same. However, I tried ordering extra tare and it helps make it flavorful again. If it is too bland for you, just ask them for extra tare.

Delicious Ramen, so far the best I tried in Houston. I wish they had more appetizers variety, but overall it is a good Raman and a very nice and hoots

Was expecting much better based on star rating, but I should have read the recent reviews which tell a different story.Sadly the worst ramen I've had at a restaurant. Biggest thing is that the Tonkotsu ramen was ruined by bitter broth. Other mistakes were that the noodles were cooked improperly, and the egg was straight up hardboiled.

I recently ordered tsukemen ramen with extra egg at this spot. The broth was horrible. It had a bitter flavor that ruined the entire dish. I would not recommend anyone eat here. It was a total waste of 18

I had a great experience here. New ramen shop opened up near Seiwa Market. This is their soft opening so they open from 11am-3pm. We came before 11am so it was still closed. An employee came out and yelled "We're open!". We were the first one in and we got a warm welcome from all the employees. People just kept coming in every minute and soon the place was packed. This place has done well for itself even though it's their soft opening. They have great service here with the waiters checking up on you every now and then if everything was okay.Spicy ramen: enough spiciness and rich broth. The noodles were thinner and the bowl was a decent size. You can add in extra noodles and a half-boiled egg.Tsukemen: also known as dipping noodles. The broth was too salty for my taste. The noodles' size was bigger. The egg was cooked just right and has an interesting sweet taste. I find dipping noddles too be a little tedious to eat so I just poured the broth into the bowl which defeats the whole purpose of dipping noddles but whatever works for you. There are combos that you can order. It comes with a side and a drink. We ordered combo A with the fried chicken and pink lemonade. It was surprising when the waitress gave us another cup of pink lemonade when the one on our table was almost empty. I didn't think they would do a refill on a combo that cost only 4 dollars.

I was so excited to try this place. We got the chicken ramen. The broth had a burnt bitter taste that lingard an hours after leaving. I only had 2 sips of the broth and couldn't get past the burnt taste. The server said sorry and asked us to pay. My spouse and I only took 2 sips. We didn't eat anything. We just payed and left. I'm a server too and I would have tried to fix the issue. $ out the window. We just went somewhere.

This used to be my go to place for ramen. But looks like the quality has gone down. Got their chicken ramen which made me sick. I believe they were running low on broth and they substituted it with excess noodles and oil.

Ramen was good! I was surprised that the spinach noodles were so good, not too spinach flavored but absorbed the broth just right. I was also surprised that it came with a full egg that tasted delicious. On the other side, I wish it was a little bigger pork serving. Also the spice isn’t too spicy which I personally enjoyed. The takoyaki was okay, could be fried more maybe? A little mushy. Service was good but nothing above average. Ambiance gives Japanese vibes with the decor.
