Wow. Just wow. That was the best gumbo I've had in my 30 years in Houston. We also had the red fish and fried shrimp. My husband said the Brussel sprouts were better than Perry's! Rodney was warm and welcoming and the food was wonderful!

I’m not big on seafood and kinda just came to this place because I had a hankering for some fish. It also helped that it was close by. We came to try it on a whim. We were extremely happy with the quality of the food and service. So much so, I almost shed a tear because everything was so good. The place was packed with people because of a birthday party and I didn’t even mind. The vibes were on point, the food was awesome, the service was amazing, and the drinks were delightful. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know for the next month! Y’all got a forever customer after my first visit!

Annual Good Friday with the girls! I arrived late due to wonderful Houston traffic, even on Good Friday.Arrived with ease. It wasn't hard to find. It's located in a small strip center. Upon entry, it was a small but cozy spot. I sat down and nibbled on the leftover apps the ladies had. I did sit for a while before someone came over. My friend went to the bar to order drinks instead, but we finally received a 2nd tableside visit. The food was decent and definitely freshly made. The adult beverages are the best!!! Definitely the highlight for me. I wasn't blown away by the food. It was good but typical cuisine. I would definitely go back. It's not horrible for sure. To my point, I did order fried food. Next time, I will try something that requires elbow grease (sauces and flavor flair). The service was great. Everyone was nice and was obviously happy they were there. That along makes me want to go back. I just want 2 of the Blueberry Martinis!!!Finally, the price is definitely right!
I can hardly wait to make my way back to indulge in the creole deliciousness and libations here! Great customer service, ambiance, food and guests!

I visited Rian's seafood restaurant in the Houston area during their Saturday happy hour.I started with my favorite drink, the Cosmopolitan, and the bartender did a great job in making a custom twist per my request.I also had their Bam Bam Shrimp, which is on their happy hour food menu. Definitely a must try, the sauce is amazingly delicious, and shrimp were cooked to perfection.I'll definitely go back for their dinner menu options! A must check out if you're looking for a very chill, relaxing atmosphere with great music!

I was looking for real gulf catfish and a nice cocktail. So I searched Google and Yelp reviews in my area and found RIAN'S. This eatery more than met my expectations, Rodney was very hospitable and explained their menu offerings very well! A couple of "regulars" came in for a quick drink and we made great conversation about their great experiences at RIAN'S as well. They were just opening and preparing for a busy day, but that did stop them from providing excellent service and food. I had the crawfish dip with the house made chips, catfish and crab fried rice. My drinks were the blueberry lemon drop and their version of a good old fashioned! I'll try their sidecar on my next visit. I heard great things about them! I appreciate the great experience and will be back!

So we (my husband and I) attend West End Church and had passed Rian's a few times so finally said 'Eh let's go in for once' for lunch and I'm SO glad we did. Everything was absolutely delicious. We got tbe crawfish drip, frked shrimp platter, fried catfish platter, and the peach cobbler.Everything was perfectly seasoned and portioned. The fries had that perfect crunch. The peach cobbler was so good my husband who doesn't even like peach cobbler helped me finish it. I can't wait to go back and try more.
