Bartenders were very nice. Happy hour pricing from 3-7pm was good. The bar and restaurant was so loud. It was not a pleasant place to hang out and even more difficult to have a conversation.

This is establishment is slow as hell. It was my first time here, and upon getting out of the elevator, there are about 10 kids, yelling and screaming, running around, almost running into me and forcing the door entrance to the place closed so the other kids can’t get in; I sit there and wait for their shenanigans to end And then when I do sit down, I’m there for what seems like 20 minutes, with no acknowledgment from the wait staff, no acknowledgment from the bartender. So then, as I got up, the guy on the side of me looked at me knowing exactly why I got up, because literally no service. Then I go outside to get in my vehicle I drive through the gate And of course parking, cost $12.99, and I was literally there for less than 20 minutes. I do not recommend this place at all, go to grand Lux down the street.

We came in for lunch, there was not a single person in the restaurant. We stood and waited for almost 10 minutes for a server/hostess and finally a manager came from the front desk to go to the back to find someone. A young girl came out and dropped menus at our table without communicating. Another server came and took our orders. We waited almost 40 minutes for an appy (tortilla chips and hummus), a chicken Caesar salad and sandwich. In that time, another patron came and sat for 10 minutes and left. The server did not come back out. The food was mediocre at best, water was never refilled - which was all I was drinking. We asked for our bill when we saw the server part way through our meal knowing it would take awhile before we saw them again. Terrible service. Took forever considering we were the only two people in the restaurant. And food was tasteless. Unfortunate for a beautiful atmosphere. They also have a sneaky little service charge which when asked about was a tip of 15% that is automatically charged. So although we usually start our tipping at 20%, this service would have maybe got 10% but we had no choice but to top more than willing or deserved.

1st night I went, the food was so good, I returned the next night. The pork belly is just that good. Had it one the burger and returned to have the empanadas. The bartender also makes great drinks so that didn't hurt either. It's not an extensive menu at the bar but they get their limited options done

We went for HRW, the bartender is our hostess and server and the person who takes room service orders. Food is fine - nothing spectacular, definitely felt fooled by their website made it all Craft styled cooking. They had several replacement which is odd for HRW. And yes, they do have a service charge, that was about 27% of the tab. Which as a user, I'm unable to skip but when I anticipate a $39 prix fixe menu and I didn't order alcohol, you knock my budget out for extra tip to the server/hostess/bartender. One good thing, dining there, you can get your parking validated at the front desk. Remember to take down your license plate, thats how they find your parking timestamp.

Their website mislead us to think this is an up-class place. They also failed to tell you that they have a 27% service charge to the tab, which is a disservice to the servers. I am happy to hear that for dining there they will validate parking. But the overall experience left nothing to desire at all here.

This is a nice bar inside the Chifley Hotel in Houston. The bar is nice and open late . I ordered a dirty martini . It was delicious and strong like I like it ! The bartender that night was very nice and she talked to us while we set with our drinks . I also ordered wings but they didn't have much flavor . The fries were hot and delicious .

I have had a lot of fries and chips in my life, I consider myself a fries aficionado. I was BLOWN away by the flavor, excellent seasoning and crunch of their house fries and nacho chips. I literally had to have a moment of silence to enjoy them. In fact everything we had for lunch: a custom mocktail, the Korean bbq wings, chips and dip and the chicken sandwich was excellent. Very surprisingly, it was of the best lunches I’ve had in Houston! Who would think this little gem would be tucked away in this new stylish boutique hotel? If you’re in or around Galleria and hungry: do yourself a favor - definitely dine here!!!!

This is one of the best hotel bars I have ever experienced! Great bartenders that know what they are doing and have fun doing it! Do yourself a favor and stop by and have one of Diana's Old Fashioned...you won't be disappointed! Cheers!

Menu is a bit limited, but great food drinks and atmosphere. Bit of a hidden gem here in town. A bit expensive though. Steak, two drinks and a dessert came out to about $120.

I spent some time at the bar and had breakfast one of the mornings of my stay. The bartenders interacted cheerfully with our group and kept up with our orders. No complaints on the drinks or the bar service. The breakfast buffet the next morning was mediocre. The sausage patties were dried out from too many hours on in the warmer and the eggs were runny and cold. At $22 I expected better.

Really cool restaurant tucked into the new Chifley hotel. My server JJ was excellent. Did a great job of recommending dishes, and explaining the mash up of the different cultures in Houston. I started with a smoked Old Fashioned, and may have had more than one. Brussel sprouts were super crispy, and had a nice punch of sweetness from pomegranate seeds. The Yakatori Beef was super tender, with just enough heat and saltiness. I’ll be back for the Roasted Chicken. I never get chicken in restaurants, but this was excellent. The skin was chicharron crispy, with juicy tender chicken.
