Not gonna lie, I come here every single day to get a Diet Coke and know a lot of the people by name so I might be a little biased; but this is my go-to barbecue place in New Braunfels.Blacks down the street is great, but I’d rather have a chopped beef sandwich, the best potato salad I’ve ever had, and a drink for under $10 than go down to blacks where you’d be dropping at least $15 for a similar quality chopped beef sandwich, and potato salad that isn’t even in the same ballpark. Blacks does have solid Diet Coke though, but I’d take Rudy’s over it.Also, this is the best Diet Coke in New Braunfels. Even if I didn’t like barbecue; this would still be my favorite drink stop in town.If I could give the staff here 100 stars I would! They are some of the nicest people I’ve met. Shout out to Kaeleb and Barb; I talk with them more than most of my friends and family haha.

Brisket not consistent, sometimes really juicy and tender. Ordered moist again this time but got lean leg meat which was really hard to eat. Also no flavor.

It’s disappointing when a store posts hours that they don’t keep to. Food is great, love Rudy’s. But service really let me down by not serving breakfast till the posted time of 10AM. I showed up around 950 and was told they were sorry but they weren’t serving breakfast anymore.

A company should not advertise curbside pickup, if you still have to go inside to get your food. Waited 45 minutes for 4 tacos. 1st and last time for me.
