Fooled by their ads in a Chinese forum. The food is so so-so, very salty…They served our dish to other table, and re-serve back to us…the owner should really think about how to improve their dishes, rather than just puts ads and fool people in…

I don’t know about other food, but the garlic crawfish is not very good.

I ordered their food twice. One time is on doordash and it was really bad, I can do the exactly same dish at home and will taste 100 times better than theirs. But I also doubted myself coz when I checked their rating is actually not too bad. So I went to their store the other time and it was ok. Their rice noodles are ok, I think the problem is the soup, aftertaste is a little bit bitter. But their soup dumplings are not too bad. The skin is bit too thick. They offer soymilk for free which is really impressive. And their soymilk is very serious. You know many restaurants' free drinks are jokes but their soy milk is Real soy milk, doesnt taste like water and you can smell the soy flavor

After the pandemic, I've noticed a significant decline in the quality of flavors. The same dishes just don't taste as good anymore, even the once standout noodles have lost their magic. Not only that, but the service has worsened too. Throughout the meal, not once did they refill our water, and to top it off, they demanded a hefty tip upon checkout. Disappointing experience overall.

Strongly not recommend it. They should rethink about how to run a restaurant.Chairs are uncomfortable. Space is unacceptably narrow.Fry rice is over salty with not too much vegi or meat.Buns are not made by themselves. You need to bite hard to find meat. Dough is thick.Look at the noodle. All about noodles. It’s almost $15. You don’t even put more than 5 pieces?

Caution for spicy food.!! The food is very good. However, if you cannot eat spicy food then you should not try anything with "spicy" tag. This is high level of spicy and will made your mouth feeling numb.

I ordered the Hot n Sour Soup for lunch with noodles. My soup arrived and looked like straight chili oil. I had about 2-3 drops of it on the end of my spoon and it immediately swelled my throat. It was the spiciest food I have ever had in my life (and I have traveled extensively around the world). I was on the verge of going to the ER but was able to get ice and cold water down my throat. I was shaking and thought I was going to pass out. I called the restaurant bc I knew something was not right and they just said its spicy. This is way beyond spicy. Now I can't eat and can't stop coughing. Worst food experience in my life.

PLEASE READ THIS. I need to make it clear that some of the idiots who are reviewing this place are clearly uneducated/uncultured people. They don’t understand the concept of authentic “mala cuisine” which encompasses the numbing sensation in your mouth due to Sichuan peppercorns.I never make reviews, but I need to make it clear that this is one of the best food I’ve ever had in houston, being a local resident my entire life. For all the people who said this was “disgusting”, I’m sorry you don’t understand how food is intended at certain cuisines. But your uneducated reviews are harming the potential for GOOD cultured food. Please educate yourself before throwing reviews that can harm local businesses.

The food was good, but the service was not fast. The restroom door almost fell off and to open it took a lot of force.

My husband and I tried Sichuan Noodles for the first time on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was pretty busy, and we were seated at a corner table (a bit tight). We ordered scallion pancakes as an appetizer and three entrees: spicy crispy chicken, mapo tofu, and crispy tripe. Did not order noodles. Sidebar: I want to say that I hate their tables. There are no table legs, just a really bulky column supporting the table, and it's very uncomfortable. Whoever chose this style of table was not considering people with long legs, or legs in general. There was a bit of a wait for the food. The pancakes came out first, and they were just okay. They were kind of floppy and undercooked. The entrees then came out, along with two ungenerous bowls of rice. Look, we ordered three entrees. Why not just give us a big bowl of rice? At least the entrees were good. The spicy crispy chicken is exactly that--spicy and crispy (although not very dynamic in terms of flavor). The tripe is excellent; super crispy and flavorful. The mapo tofu is excellent, too, although it is mis-advertised. I dare anyone to find any bit of pork in this dish (it's supposed to have pork). Service is okay. You don't have just one server responsible for your table. I would've wanted the servers to circulate a bit more. Mostly they stayed at the counter. When we asked for anything, like more rice, they brought it quickly. Would come back for the food, and maybe we'll try noodles next time.

I decided to try this restaurant after hearing an advertisement on a local radio station. Since it specializes in Szechuan cuisine, I opted for their highly recommended dish, the Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle soup. However, I was extremely disappointed with my experience for the following reasons:1. Presentation: When the bowl was brought to the table, I was greeted with a dark-colored noodle soup that had a layer of grease on top. It lacked any visually appealing elements such as parsley, green onion, or other vegetables, which made it unappetizing.2. Aroma: Freshly cooked beef usually has a distinct and enticing smell, but unfortunately, this bowl of soup lacked that characteristic. Instead, all I could smell was grease and saltiness, with no other pleasant aromas emanating from the dish.3. Ingredients: My bowl contained only two main components: beef brisket and noodles. While there was a generous amount of beef brisket, I was disappointed to find that around 90% of it consisted of tough skin and beef tendon, which made it difficult to chew and enjoy. Consequently, I ended up leaving most of the beef untouched. Additionally, the noodles were overly thick, which affected the overall texture when combined with the greasy soup.Overall, I found this soup to be of low quality and the restaurant itself to be lacking in attention to detail. It appears that they have prioritized cost-cutting measures over using better ingredients and ensuring the overall taste and quality of their dishes. It would be beneficial for them to invest more in their ingredients and show greater care for the taste and presentation of their food. Until that days come, I will not be there again or recommend it to any of my friends.

Have been on a search for a replacement for the recently departed Chengdu Taste. This is the current favorite for Sichuan food in Houston. The fried fish was amazing, the red oil dumplings were the best I have ever had. I would pass on the eggplant with garlic sauce, it was too vinegar heavy. The boiled beef could use more mala, and I will ask for more next time, but it was very well executed. Can't wait to go back!

I like trying new restaurants every now and then. We tried this place and food was good. We only ordered the Shrimp fried rice and the Szechuan Spicy Chicken. The shrimp fried rice was yummy ?? ate it with their fresh chili condiment, and it was really really good. The Szechuan Spicy Chicken, i really liked. It has a very strong flavor, and those numbing peppers really get you. So just a warning for those who dont like spicy food.Overall good experience. Would I go back? Probably, to try other things on their menu.Follow my instagram food diary @dailyasiankitchen ?❤️
