Service was great even though I did take out they were polite and fast . Food was great especially the ribs and brisket, not a big fan of the sausage but it was ok. Potato salad was good as well as the coleslaw

My wife and I hired Southern Q to cater the rehearsal party for our son's wedding at our home this month. We entertained 30-40 guests outside under the carport. From the time that my wife first spoke to them, to the day of the event, we could not have been happier! They met our every need! Not only was the food outstanding, but so was the service! Pleasant people who went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had more than enough to eat. The BB-Q brisket, chicken and sausage was some of the best that I have ever had here in Houston. All of the side dishes were terrific as well. Darn good deserts also! Everyone at the party could not stop commenting on how good the food was. We would recommend Southern-Q to everyone!

Oh my lorddd this is my first time here but this is most definitely the best bbq I ever had in my life this is crazy. And I didn't even get the brisket neither which yall cal the BEST thing i just got the chicken. But I mean the cornbread was sweet the mac n cheese was good and the RUB on that chicken had me dam near falling out of my chair. I couldn't even contain myself. Anyways, yall come here if you want real food. Even the service was good they were so nice. If you don't comre here before you die you lived a lame life I'm just saying

I dont like greens that stick me in the cheek. The bbq was kind of dry and the spicy sausage wasn't the stuff you would slap your mama for. Also, they had no Mac n cheese.

I ordered an all the way baked potato with brisket and chicken. The potato was very dry, no butter was added in top of it. The chicken and brisket were also dry. The amount of barbecue sauce, cheese and sour cream provided for the potato was way out of portion. Because a baked potato was something I had been craving for months made it that much more disappointing and let not forget to mention the cost of $23 before tax.Years ago, the parking lot use to be packed and I could smell the smoke from miles away. Unfortunately my vehicle was the only one in the lot at 4 pm and I couldn't smell anything upon arrival or when I walked through the door.Hopefully this review spark some motivation.

On the recommendation from the masbate at a place I was working at today.. I came here. And was happy to have the recommendation pan out! Moist brisket with mashed potatoes cajun/dirty rice. Delicious. Good price. I've paid more for got less and not nearly as tasty. Highly recommend.

I got the slab of ribs.. They were burnt and hard... Not really soft or fall off the bone.. Mac and cheese was like the one from popeyes.. Greens beans were ok.. Banana pudding would of been perfect if the bananas weren't so hard...
