Omg, the flavors! Everything was perfection. The only complaint if I had one is that with the price of eating out nowadays, when I'm spending 30.00 a plate on the main course for 1 person, id prefer the serving sizes to be larger, and not leave wishing for seconds!
What a fantastic place to eat. The enchiladas were perfect... In taste, presentation, and portion size.Our server was delightful and very helpful, talking through which items to choose... And after hearing my responses to the food, gave me ideas for next time.All around fantastic experience

Flavorless, watered-down, large "house margarita" on the happy hour menu cost $11.91 ($5.50 × 2 + tax?) I told the manager I wasn't happy with it and he told me it would have tasted better if I had ordered one with top shelf tequila and grand marnier...I expected something more but oh well. It's just a margarita. They did serve complimentary chips and salsa which I always appreciate; however their salsa was more accurately defined as stewed tomato puree with about 2 tablespoons of salt. And the hostess gave me an annoyed look when I pointed to a specific booth I wanted to sit in, and absolutely no smile. I felt unwelcome, the salsa was awful, and the margarita was a rip-off.Dietary restrictions: Beware if on a sodium restricted diet!!!

Very impressed w my first time here. The food was very good and full of flavor. Highly recommend the La Kineña beef enchiladas. They were the best enchiladas I’ve ever had! They have a nice happy hour menu and taco Tuesday menu too! Margaritas were of great size and tasted great. Rosario was a treat as she took great care of us.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and drinks available.

I normally go to this restaurant it’s close to home and the food and drinks are delicious. But Today the service was not great. I asked the hostess if I can sit at a booth. Like I normally do she proceeded to tell me that there is none. When the room was filled with booths. She seats me at a table and then sits another customer who came in by themselves at a booth. I was a little annoyed. But then My waitress was so fast paced and Catered to her larger party. I waited 10 mins to put in my drink order. However, i was ready to order. She took my drink order and then walked off. Please keep in mind the restaurant was not busy. Overall I’m disappointed in the customer Service. Food and drinks are great though.

This was the absolute best Mexican food I have had in a while. The salsa was fresh, warm and delicious. The original frozen margarita was strong and tasty! The enchiladas were to die for and the sopapillias hands down best I have ever had. Has a great patio and a large bar. Parking is plentiful. I will definitely be back. Very satisfied with the experience!
Absolutely love this place. The food taste great. The one draw back is the portions could be bigger. I often leave the resteraunt still hungry. Been eating at Sylvia's every since she was on Westheimer many years ago and have followed her great staff here. Ms Sylvia has a gold mine here at this location. Keep up the good work and quality folks !!! Hats off to ya !! ?
