I use to order here all the time. I order Sunday at noon 4/21 and the tortilla isn’t cooked or the fajita. Very disappointed. I will take my business to Dona leti’s instead.

I like the food in this place, but I’ve found it a little expensive for what it is. Saying that i didn’t realize that they have hidden charges when you buy tacos. I got charged $1.50 extra just because I order tacos de tripa? First of all if you go to the website it says tacos cost $2.50 but then you go there and the tacos are $2.75. Plus they hide charges that no one tells you about, until you asked what this charge is for. When I asked she said you want a refund? So it is a charge? or it’s something added just because they don’t expect you to see the receipt? Be careful check your receipt when you go there.

Birria here is just divine ? Add on their special hot sauces (pick your poison style) and you have the best meal. Tacos Doña Lena is definitely deserving of Yelp’s Top 100 restaurants recognition!

The food has an authentic Mexican flavor 10 out of 10, the fresh waters would be good if they were natural but I don't give those a 6, the family atmosphere, the service, although good, is a little slow, the bathrooms are clean, I will definitely return to eat here.Kid-friendliness: Yes, it is suitable for children, a family atmosphere, although I did not see if there is a children's menu.

I rarely leave reviews. I am visiting Houston and after much exhausting research I decided to try some tacos before I leave. I'm so glad a random comment made me look this place up and to my pleasant surprise they were on Uber Eats. The food came quickly, fresh and hot. These were the best tacos I've ever had! Flavorful, not salty, not fatty and tender pieces of beef! My only regret is not ordering two orders!

The burria tacos here are absolutely the best in the US. I've tried to find some comparable between Houston and Las Vegas but nothing comes close.
Seating Space is severely limited and uncomfortable. The food was far from good; torta with nopal is what I ordered—the musty smell from the corner tea area. The gross environment didn't look Clean, as all the food was dumped in the far left corner. You get a slight peek at the cook. Anyway, I tried it but didn't even finish my food. It was overcrowded and Over-rated.

Drove 6 hours to eat the tacos just for the system to be down… They have no backup plan if the system is down. They lost a lot of clients that were waiting for more than 20 minutes.

The food was INCREDIBLE. The staff was super sweet and shared with me all about the history and it’s surprisingly cheap for the amount of food and depth of flavor in the birria.
