Food and service were AMAZING, we got the tandoori chicken, the lamb curry, and the lamb salad. It was great. The garlic man is heavenly. Our server was Payam (sorry for spelling) and he was the nicest server I’ve ever had. Also they give you a baller appetizer. 5 stars.

I recently decided to try Afghan Village for takeout in Houston, Texas, and I must say, it was an absolute disaster. The entire experience left me feeling frustrated and regretful, and I cannot help but share my disappointment, especially the quantity is bad for there whole chicken i have try to explain them every time.Regret!

mantu was in the menu but they didn’t have it, which is what i came for. service was not good. we asked for our drinks maybe 5 times before they came. lamb in the qaboli had a weird, unpleasant texture, i couldn’t eat it. the rice, fries and bolani was good. overall, it was a disappointing experience.

We were greeted very warmly & loved the energy of the server. He helped us select our dishes. We came here after 5 years_ chapli kabab was fresh, moist n so tasteful. The goat karahi was our favorite. The best I have ever eaten. Very distinctive taste n spices. The appetizers bollani, n the egg plant were sumptuous. A no brainer_ the best Afghan food in houston.
Untrained and rude staff spoils the great tasty food. Very very unprofessional staff. Will never come again.
