I really enjoyed my visit to The Grove one afternoon. This is a unique restaurant with beautiful decor, and I would describe the interior as artsy, colorful, elegant and inviting. Beforehand, I wasn't sure about what to order, but once I arrived, the Ahi Tuna Poke and Blue Crab Fritters seemed like great choices. Originally, the Ahi Tuna Poke was served with a miniscule amount of wasabi-avocado puree, but after alerting the waiter, he quickly fixed the issue. This is a delightful savory dish with an excellent ponzu sauce. The Blue Crab Fritters are so delicious, and have the texture of a beignet. I even loved the bread and butter. To me, this is such a wonderful restaurant. Highly recommended, especially for lunch.

This was the ultimate Austin dining experience during our trip. After many days of mediocre or terrible food at some of the city's top restaurants, we arrived at The Grove desperate to be impressed. Boy did they fulfill all our desires! From the moment we walked into the large, bright, inviting space and were greeted by Daniel, I knew it was going to be a great night. Perfect service, delicious food, flawless. I would make a trip to Austin just to have another night at The Grove.

Met with a potential vendor at the restaurant and had a pleasant experience. We were promptly seated, which is a bonus for downtown/Discovery Green area. Although it got a bit busy after we were seated, the service remained excellent. I appreciated the teamwork among the staff, assisting each other with serving tables. The chicken sandwich was tasty, with well-cooked and crispy chicken. However, the shredded lettuce made the sandwich messy, which was a downside. Nevertheless, the overall experience was positive, especially enjoying the view of the park from the venue

Where do I start, got seated, waited 10 mins for out waiter, quickly ordered a drink and appetizer when he finally showed up. Appetizer came out, drinks didn't. Asked about the drinks the few times the waiter came by to check on us) and nothing. Finally walked to the bar myself and asked for the drinks but was rudely told sorry- bar is backed up. We had already waited over 30 mins for the drinks. And saw tables seated after us get several rounds of drinks. Nobody even asked what we ordered to check to see if the order had even been put in. Returned to seat and asked several waiters to check on drinks. Finally they came 40 mins later. Then finally got our Kai. Course only to have one missing. So we waited while everyone's food got cold another 15 mins for the final entree to come out. Then multiple extra drinks showed up. Ridiculous, no manger in sight. Very very poor management. Will never return which is sad because I work near discovery green.

The food is delicious offering many GF options. Very young professional atmosphere. My 33 year old daughter says it is her favorite place to bring clients.

A fantastic restaurant, great location, great service and the fillet ranks in my top 5 ever. Delicious and tender. A bit pricey maybe, but this definitely one of those, "you get what you pay for" moments.

Excellent service and food, with a beautiful view of the park. Bread service, wedge salad, steak, and dessert with French press coffee was all perfectly prepared. Server was attentive, informative and engaging. Gem of downtown Houston dining.

Flavor: CService: BTea: ASolo dining: BIf you’re downtown near the convention center and need a quick and decent lunch, this place will do. But nothing impressed me. I got the blackened redfish BLT and I thought it was dry and lacked flavor. The bread and butter appetizer was also unimpressive - not piping hot or unique.
