The atmosphere was just as amazing as the staff. The professional presence of all staff was welcomed. The ambience mixed with the next level menu items makes this place one of my favorite experiences of the weekend. If you are even remotely close to this place, stop by and show love.

Unfortunately did not have an opportunity to eat here. We were given a wait time of 45 minutes. We waited an hour without a text letting us know that the table was ready. When we approached the host, she stated that we were given an estimated wait time of 55 minutes, which was untrue. She was extremely rude and nonchalant about the situation as well. When asked if our table was ready, she stated that the quoted wait time was an estimate and that they need to prioritize honoring reservations. When asked how much longer we needed to wait, she said that when we clear our tables, we will give you an estimate. She made nasty faces and seemed bothered by our presence. I hate to write poor reviews of black owned establishments but if the basics of customer service and organization fly right over your head, I don’t owe you anything and will take my business elsewhere and endorse another brunch spot which is exactly what I did. I would strongly discourage others from coming here and am extremely disappointed in the mistreatment I received. I would also consider investing in a functional air conditioner as well.
Nicole was our server and she was great! She kept coming back checking if we needed anything and was very polite. I’d definitely come back here next time I visit Houston.

Ken was just a great server! She was so polite and explained the menu to us upon arrival. We came for a Saturday brunch, and the food and service was great. Ordered the catfish and grits, and everything was fresh and hot. Music is a nice cherry on top. Clean atmosphere. Will absolutely be back!
