Veronica was amazing! Recommended the Strawberry breeze which was off the charts delicious! Then recommended the chicken fried steak and it was enough to share and it hit the spot! We never sat for more than 5 minutes without the attention of the very professional wait staff. Not sure of the negative reviews because I am super picky and this place was great! Ask for Veronica because she knows!

Never again.Came in around 9 day before yesterday. Seated myself as sign says to. Waited almost 10 minutes for a menu and offer of a drink. Waitress didn't introduce herself at all. I felt rushed to decide on a drink and food even though I made it clear it was my first time coming in. Picked the classic burger since I was being pressured to hurry. She wouldn't even answer my questions about recommendations or what guys usually order when dining in. Horrible attitude and work ethic.Fast forward:Shiner Bock was lukewarm, nowhere near a good drinking temperature and at $5.50 you'd think it'd be cold...Burger was decent, fried okra was awesome. Waited almost 30 minutes for it...I had to get up to ask for a refill AND for napkins since not a single napkin was brought to my table. Neither was silverware.Bathroom was completely trashed and disgusting. Pee and toilet paper was everywhere. Trashcan overflowing. Notified waitress no name and she huffed, turned and walked away to talk to a table in the back.Needless to say upon my first time here I was NOT impressed and will NOT bring someone I care about here. I was hoping to feel welcome and possibly bring a date next week but ....No. I wouldn't recommend that anyone bring someone they care about here.FULL DISCLOSUREI was NOT going to leave a review but they keep asking for one so here it is.

Didn't feel welcome here tonight. We visited 8 different locations and this one was our second least favorite. Our group had one drink and left. Definitely not the enegy we were hoping for sadly. Staff seemed irritated at our even being there, and never bothered to check on us. Even passing us up a few times to check other tables. We left after one drink.

Disappointed with my experience last night. I called two weeks in advance for a party of 11, and was told reservations weren't available; it was first-come, first-served. However, upon arrival, I saw several tables with reserved signs. The hostess seemed confused when I mentioned this and had been caught, lying.

Large portions with quick service is always a great recipe
It a good place to stop and grab some food from really affordable and it’s downtown so if your in the area it’s not to far from mostly everything so easy to get to and near other cool spots to check out the prices was the best thing about the place and the quality of food wasn’t badParking: It’s downtown so all parking is mostly paid parking unless you in the area after 6pm then I believe street parking is free.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly and safe.
Food and drinks 7/10 had the brisket grilled cheese and the fried tomato BLT. Service was terrible never got greeted, went inside to order and the server was unapologetic and seemed irritated by putting my order in. Barely checked on us never smiled or introduced her name so I can’t say who it was. I never tip 0 because I’m also in the industry but she clearly wasn’t happy to be serving me and my boyfriend.

Visiting Houston and was looking for somewhere to eat breakfast.The hostess was nice but the server was rudeWe was asking what she recommended for drinks and food, she was just rude and put in two drinks that we asked about but didn’t say we was getting.When she realized we didn’t want them she had an attitude.We ask another lady to have the manager come over to us, and the manager was the waitress that was helping us ( to the rude lady.Long story short we got up and walked out.ZERO STARS FROM ME
