Come here if you’re looking for a good ol’ dive bar experience. The food is chips but on Friday nights there’s a cook that comes up and serves hot food on the patio. Ok to have food delivered too.

Absolutely terribly rude bartender, works here. I loved this bar and had never had a bad experience with their staff until tonight.Please get a grip on this bartender! I was trying to leave the patio tonight while this bartender was blocking the only exit from the patio. She also antagonized two patrons at this time telling them, "I love your girlfriend, she's so sweet, (clearly not meaning anything she was saying)." The girlfriend of the guy became very upset, telling this bartender, "I do not like you."The bartender replied, "That's great" or something to that effect. I had to ask the bartender to move from where she was standing so I would be able to leave the bar.Initially, she came out to the patio at about 2:24 AM and was very loud telling us she really needed to close; stood in the middle of us antagonizing the entire lot. It was a terrible experience and one that would definitely keep me from being interested in patroning this establishment.

Really relaxed place. Excellent arrangement for the community. Parking is limited, although there is plenty of it at night because most people don't drive there. Though I really miss the old saloon, these people are doing a great job.

Renee is absolutely incredible!! Each time I’ve been in she was not simply managing a crowded bar by herself, she was doing so with grace, patience, and kindness.This is a cozy neighborhood bar that has become a favorite for those working in the local restaurant industry. Definitely a place to meet new and interesting people on any given night.Fair prices and a welcoming atmosphere.But if you ask me.. the greatest selling point is absolutely Renee! The Railyard just wouldn’t be the same without her!

Service is good no matter how busy. The patrons, however, are not welcoming or interested in being kind to anyone who's not part of their group. Judgmental bar so don't go if you don't know anyone. Boring af solo.

Honestly you should just IGNORE those Angry Karen reviews!! If you are genuinely interested in visiting The Railyard and what it offers then welcome to the local community! Located in one of the most expensive areas of Houston, this bar offers an escape for those accustomed to a more modest lifestyle. As always props to Renee she is the best!!

A neighborhood local bar. We stopped in as a large group after the restaurant next door closed. We were made to feel welcome and continued our celebration. A good choice of spirits (whiskey) and cocktails.

I really enjoyed it here. It has a Whisky bar feel to it. I truly enjoyed the patio with friends. We ordered food and had some great cocktails. My Manhattan was perfectly blended, they have good Whisky selection. I'll enjoy hanging out there again.
