Visiting from North Carolina and stopped in for some drinks. The atmosphere with live music was great. The drinks were good and cold. Our server Marjorie was on point and friendly. We did not get food but it all looked good going to other tables.

Mediocre. Had the brisket tacos and they weren’t anything to write home about. Service was ok, food was ok, but just ok. It wouldn’t be a first choice pick to go to and I wouldn’t drive across town for it.

The trio of tamales were some of the best tamales I’ve ever eaten. Lots of meat and creamy corn flavor. Margaritas were not sweet at all…just like I like them! Huge beer selection!

Saw a lot of good reviews and decided to give it a try for my birthday. Our evening started out rough, we had a big party so I called ahead to make reservations, however when we arrived we were told that we did not have a table or an estimated wait time to be seated. Which did not make a lot of sense since we also called again upon arrival to let them know we were on our way.The atmosphere was lively, we had live music, and the food was alright. I enjoyed the shells & cheese for side and would choose fries over the chips. Our waiter made up for our bad experience, he offered a choice of dessert, I chose the Ice Box S’mores which I enjoyed.Overall, I’m glad to experience the Rustic but probably wouldn’t come againParking: $10 Valet

Upgrade to Gorgeous!
Wow! What a fantastic gem we've found here in Houston! From the food to the attentive, stellar service from Lloyd, to the mellow, live band; we couldn't have asked for a more perfect Sunday brunch! Absolutely loved the family style brunch, with something for everyone, while still being reasonably priced! The peach bellini was spectacular, as was every dish shown in the pictures!

LGBTQ stay away. Waited 20 minutes at the table and nobody showed up. Table was dirty and they served everybody but us. We left telling the lady at the entrance and she didn’t care. Clearly not a LGBTQ place. Seriously bad at any level. Basically a straight couple only place considering the three hispanic chaparritos bus boy making homophobic comments in spanish on us and the little ignorant trio didn’t realize we understood everything they said. Overall the brunch menu could use some work but they have plenty of options. However one of the managers, Hannah, was very rude to us and the people that work there. I won’t be coming back as long as she’s there.

It was very quiet and a little late when we went, but they had a private party with one guy singing and he was great!. I had a pork quesadilla that was delicious and quite large!. Definitely would go back on a friday or Saturday for more music

I loved trying this place. The brisket Angus burger was so good. They had a country singer on stage Sunday afternoon who made the experience great. The service was quick and attentive. I like the look of the place quite a bit, too. High roof with false rafters to complete the barn look. Realy an all-around solid place. I'll definitely be back.Parking: Bike racks!

The Rustic more than met expectations—the food was excellent as was the service which is incredible considering it could simply rely on the atmosphere. Suggest a visit, and definitely the Tamales 3 Ways.
