I recently visited the Waffle Bus restaurant after hearing all the great reviews and I must say my experience was very different. Maybe we caught them on an off night but it was not the best experience. I like the kiosk ordering but there were things on the menu at the counter that were different on the kiosk. For example, the wings combo on the menu board gives the option to choose between a waffle and waffle fries. I could not find the option to choose on the kiosk. It defaulted to waffle fries. Thankfully, that’s what I wanted but when we asked the young lady at the counter she said it only comes with a waffle. Okayyyy I’m confused! Which one is right; the menu board, the kiosk, or the lady at the counter hmmm? The customer service at the counter was spotty. There was a guy, I believe named Andre who was very helpful and sweet. But the others not so much. We felt like we were bothering them whenever we asked a question. The restrooms and the tables were very dirty. My friend made sure to repeat multiple times that we wanted our food fresh because a mom with her kids who was dining in said their food came out cold. Thankfully, our food was fresh and hot. The waffle fries are okay, they could really use some seasoning, they were bland. The fried chicken was fried perfectly but did not taste seasoned. It also tasted bland. My friend’s burger was wonderful. It was perfectly cooked and flavorful. I didn’t get a chance to try the dessert area, I might go back for that or a burger but not for the wings or waffle fries. I must also mention cleaning up and sanitizing your establishment really can go a long way. Thanks

So I will admit, I never made it to eat the food. If you are too lazy to take my order but you have enough time to explain the whole process, then I am too lazy to order myself and eat there. A lot of employees standing around so why don't you put that paid workforce to good use and take my order?? Just from first glance... portions are small compared to price so maybe your laziness saved me some money and a far more critical review... whoever the idiot was that decided self-serve ordering was an idea show be starved on an island and let them self-serve from the sand.

HOLY SMOKES!! This place far exceeded any expectations I had. I’m in from out of town and visited The Waffle Bus with some friends. My ONLY complaint is that there was quite a line but once I tasted the food I understood, SO worth it! While I was here I tried the waffle chicken sandwich, the waffle fries, mac and cheese, fruity pebbles cereal shake, and their banana crème pie waffle. I was impressed by every single thing. The chicken was so crispy and whatever sauce they put on that sandwich was magical. The environment was really cool with the neon signs everywhere. If you ever find yourself in Houston you’ve got to make this stop a priority.

Not very clean the tables, but the food its so good. Tasty. Shakes are not the best.
This was my first time here and the food was AMAZING!I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my son got a burger with a fried egg on top- both were delicious! The fries were crispy and had a slight Cajun/sweetness to them.We also got the Chicken thunder fries to go, which were also really good even after driving 30mins home.The ONLY complaint I have is with the staff.This place is super packed (which is to be expected), and thus needs to be cleaned regularly. It was really dirty. Also, the staff was sort of short with customers and it came off a bit rude.Other than that- the food was 5 star and I will DEFINITELY be back!Parking: There is a parking lot in the back with very limited parking spaces. Other than that, you'll have to find street parking and walk.

Honest review and I know about flavor . This one I don't understand the big hype is greasy junky food. I order a burger it was very small for the price extremely greasy taste like onion it was not good. The waffle fries were cold NOT fresh seems like food is just sitting there for hours my food was ready in 5 minutes paid $60 for three meals overpriced and not even it worth it . Waffle hot chicken sandwich was not spicy the waffle felt apart chicken had too much oil. My daughter ordered waffles with cream and strawberries way too sugary never again she didn't like it. Tables outside were dirty and trash cans were full it was not even busy. Employees not friendly and do not acknowledge customers they look unhappy to work there. Parking on the back is small if is too busy probably won't find any. I will never eat here again.

Waffle Bus, you have won my heart!We stopped in on a whim, there was a wide variety on their menu -at a great price point. I had their brunch burger and it did not disappoint!The most impressive thing about this place was their team. It was busy and everyone I saw was working their tails off. I appreciate hard work. Keep it up! I’ll be back!
