We stopped in on Sunday April 31st to grab a bite. We found it on Google while searching for something "different" to eat. This was our first visit.Upon entering, the first thing we noticed was that the place was very clean! A great sign. We reviewed the menu and decided what we'd be having and then stepped to the counter. A nice young lady took our order without issue. I had the chicken tikka masala (spicy), my daughter had the same (mild) and my wife got the make your own Southern Curry with chicken (extra spicy). We also ordered 3 garlic naan and samosas. Wife also had a craft beer (Edelweiss) from a local brewery. Daughter and I had a few different drinks from the self-serve machines (they were all good!).Upon delivering food we had a minor issue. While eating mine I didn't get much spice, but the flavor was good, so I carried on enjoying my meal and didn't really think about it. A few moments later, my daughter stopped eating her meal and complained that it was too spicy for her to continue. We pretty quickly realized at that point that they had switched the non-spicy and spicy orders when delivering them to the table. She had actually already finished about 75% of the order but we just switched plates. I enjoyed finishing the spicy and my daughter appreciated the less spicy version much more as well. The naan was great, samosas were also tasty. We'll probably try it again if we're in the area and feeling like something other than Tex-Mex or burgers. We'll just be more careful on making sure who gets what. It was a little bit pricier than expected but the food was good, so we didn't mind.

In my opinion, and based on our recent experience. Our favorite go-to for quick, mainstream Indian food (not the authentic kind). Been ordering from there for several years now. Taste has been consistent to where we have kept coming back. Most recent order, however, was a disappointment. Methi Malai Curry was too sweet; Southern Curry, which typically has a bit of of a burst of flavor and zip, was watery and tasteless (despite requesting “Hot” while ordering, there was zero taste of chili heat or spice). The Samosas met the mark as usual; however the green Chutney was too watery. The Chicken Tikka Taco was a write-off as well - too sweet due to the mango chunks in it and no other taste to compensate.Overall, disappointing fare this time; don’t know if cooks or recipes have changed - ordered via GRUBHUB, who like other food delivery services, jack up menu prices substantially (on certain dishes), in addition to charging delivery fees, etc..a nice bit of padding for themselves IMO and in my experience! The shining light in all this was the excellent response and service from the owner/manager, Sarika, who without question, took my feedback, thanked me for it, and promptly offered to refund the Southern Curry cost without question! Kudos to her! Similarly, as I had ordered via GRUBHUB, I was asked to contact them to secure the refund - again, Angel (?) at GH was superb. No questions asked, promptly refunded the amount of the dish. Great customer-mindedness throughout. Plan to return in anticipation that this experience was an anomaly.

Love the food here. I really hope the management ditches the kiosk, hires another staff member and gives them uniforms. The staff are sweet, the food is great but it’s bad business to charge what they are, prompt for tip, while systematically removing anything that looks like service from the experience. The kiosk we were directed to order from was crusty, the tables were gross, the toilet was inoperational. The staff were clearly doing their best but it’s all very unprofessional and incredibly impersonal.

There is absolutely no way I could give the Tikka Shack anything less than 5 stars. The food was remarkable. Not only a feast for your tummy but your eyes as well. The ambience was a total vibe. A great place to come together with mates and catch up. The service was top-notch. You are met with a welcoming smile and a wonderful smell. I recommend dropping by for a taste of something astonishing.

Only reason for 3 stars for food is, because of quantity in comparison to price.Indeed they nake good and flavourful food, bit quantity I'd so less for the price we pay.Just ordered a plate of samosa (2pc) and a chaat plate. Size of samosa r way to small. For $5 one expect decent sized samosa but they r pretty small. For chaat plate.. it looks like it's already half eaten plate... very very less for $7 plus. Guess have ti come less here..

So. I’ll start with the food. Very very good for a quick service. However, my biggest issue and prob why I won’t go back is having to use plastic utensils, getting the food in paper bowls and asked to clear our own table. If I’m paying $50 for a meal for two I’m not getting everything myself and bussing my own table. Won’t be going back. I get the business model but this is akin to self checkout. Come in pay me get all your own stuff to eat with then clean your table so I can get someone else in. I don’t know why but I really rubbed my the wrong way. People were nice enough but the staff didn’t even know the menu.Had I know I’d be paying for food and working there by bussing my own table I would have never gone.
