This place was recommended by a friend but it did not live up to the hype. The amaretto had dry patches. The strawberry was extremely sweet with an artificial flavor and dense compared to the traditional, lighter tres leches cake you get at most places. Neither had any fresh fruit as a filling or garnish as is usually the case with most tres leches recipes.The clerk gave us prompt service and topped the cake off with fresh whipped cream (made with real cream). Unfortunately the service and whipped cream did not make up for the steep price ($22 + tip) of two slices that were not good enough to finish. You can get similar or better cake for a lower price point at most Latine bakeries.

I was very excited to try these and unfortunately it did not live up to expectation at all. We got a red velvet and strawberry. The red velvet is 0 stars for me. Not sure how a tres leches cake can taste dry with the wet milk in it but this cake did that! The strawberry was ok but not worth $10.

Love the concept and love the name! There are so many different flavors of tres leches to choose from. I had the amaretto and my friend had the key lime, the flavors of which were really good. My cake was a little overcooked, but it was moist enough that it wasn't a turn off. I'd definitely return to try some of the other flavors.
