Shearone was amazing and the reason I'm coming back!!! She is an expert in wine, spirits, etc. They don't sell common grocery store brands, so be prepared to come open minded. No worries, all you have to do is tell Shearone what you like and she can pick something new for you. Did I forget about the hidden rooftop patio? Yall MUST stop in, especially for happy hour till 8pm.

My friends and I came to Unwind at Unwine and my goodness I’m soooo glad we did!!! It was super chilled and laid back just like we wanted. We chose to sit inside because it was a little cool but the upstairs deck is very nice as well and we will be back to enjoy that area soon. I loved the fact that owner told us to just tell her what we liked in a wine and then she came with these exquisitely delicious wines that was right on the money!! We will be back very soon!!! Thank you ?

Cannot believe I’ve been missing out on this place for years since we only live a few blocks away!!! The owner was lovely and we had a nice conversation. Got the spinach dip and the charcuterie board and it was all amazing. Will be back probably once a week ?

This was a great place for my parents to come when they visited Houston. No fluff just a nice place and BOY that homemade Sangria was OUTSTANDING.Ms. Shearone was very personable but NO NONSENSE. She makes sure the morale of her business is maintained so…no foolishness here. Just a place to relax and “unwine”. 10 star

I understand why it's called Unwine, because the minute you enter the doors, the cares and stresses of the world disappear and you find yourself relaxed and at peace. The welcoming ambiance and friendly smiles seem to remind you of home, wherever your home is. The owner/sommelier Shearone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, recommending just the right wine/beverage based on your preferences.

The food bomb, the atmosphere is bomb... very adamant structure for ordering and entering the establishment.I think it's best to look up the menu before you arrive to know what you want. Entering and ordering was a bit challenging soon as well walked in. BAM! What do you want... well, I don't know yet. ?I'm not sure of the pricing, but I do know the food taste and portions are worth it. And the environment.

I was so excited for this place only to be disappointed in my first visit. This place was EMPTY, and after my visit I can understand why. The owner is arrogant and speaks in a condescending tone to guests She lost our business just based off her delivery in her spiel to us, didn't mention anything about wine, we weren't offered a menu, but she mentioned a dress code several times (that won't be enforced until the colder months, then why are you mentioning it more than once?) also mentioned that this business is a setting for professional working people (we have our own business, little did she know) gave very business cover front for "side gigs". Check all the negative reviews, this lady obviously has a certain type of "clientele" We left after not feeling welcomed. We were looking for a place to relax, enjoy some wine and lite bites.. it was not here, but we ended up taking our business to Phoenicia down the street and had a much better evening there.

Elegant, subtle, unassuming… classy, cozy, intimate… the view of the moon and Houston skies in the background were as poetic and the event itself. The service was not only professional, courteous, attentive, thorough and authentic…but it was just as inviting as the space. A thoughtful space with elegant, subtle touches, accents and considerations so easy to miss but when noticed, undeniably intentional.Drinks and vibes were great in poise and presentation. The calm atmosphere gave upscale yet come as you are energy. It was pleasure. I was so engulfed and engaged with the space this visit but definitely will try the food next time. The intention and attention put into the space lets me know that kitchen will deliver with love.Thank you ?? The ambiance inside and on the rooftop created the perfect atmosphere to wine down from a long day. The red wines I explored and tasted were excellent. The wine was bold and smooth and by far the best wine I have had in a very long time. The great thing is that you can’t find the wine anywhere else in the city. The service was impeccable. The staff went out of the way to make sure I was happy. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
