If I could give a zero I would ,the waitress was aggressive and rude before we even got through the door. My mother and I have licensed service dogs that we take everywhere. We are very aware of the laws and etiquette required in eating establishments. We were not even greeted or asked if they were service animals and when I offered the proper paperwork to verify such,the waitress simply replied that they were "eating here" . Yes I aware it's a cafe and that's what we were intending on doing. In fact we drove out to Hubbard especially for that reason,having lived out there some years ago and decided to make the trip for memory sake. Never have we been treated so abruptly or with such gall. It's a shame that small businesses can turn away revenue in such a bleak time. It unfortunate that she lacked the skills and charisma associated with small town charm to first greet and seek confirmation but alas we left and won't return no recommend this quaint little establishment again. Kindness and willingness to even fix an order to go would have been a much better option on their part.What a shame !!!

A great Cafe in a small town. Food is always great! The waitress is always excellent! And ALWAYS an enjoyable atmosphere. Most every small town has that Cafe or diner that we know well. Hubbard City Cafe, if you don't know, then it's time to go there!Uhhhh.....OK.......Did I do good that time boss??

Great small town café. Very friendly staff, always full coffee cup, bacon & eggs with pancake really hit the spot while traveling.Looks like the daily lunch special is a screaming good deal too!Further proof that chains are better-suited for towing than eating breakfast!
