Our family came up from Florida so we wanted to take them to LA Playa Maya. It's a staple here in Texas. If you're from out of town and don't want to miss you won't be here. 5 stars all day. The staff are super courteous and the food is tremendous.

Gonna have find another favorite Mexican restaurant. Last 2 times very disappointed. My chimicagna was soggy, cold with nasty globby cheese. Last week cheese was not melted on top of dish just 1 big lump. New cook? New staff?

Caldo de camarón was literally shrimp and caldo. No vegetales what so ever. I’m glad I asked for cilantro and onion if not there would have been no flavor with that dish. The fajita meat wasn’t seasoned and had no flavor. I ask for salsa verde and was brought some junk in a bottle. The guacamole didn’t taste like anything except avocados. I couldn’t taste onions or tomatoes or lime. This place is hospital Mexican food you give to someone recovering from surgery that has a bland diet restriction. I don’t know what happen in the past year since I was here last but it will definitely be some time before I come back if I do return.
