OMG! Like eating at my grandma's cabin in the woods. Loved everything about it. Super cute. Be sure to read the placards by the front door! Lots of fun history of the restaurant. Papa Burn was my fave. The veggie burger was THE BEST I've had in a long time. Cornbread muffins are scrumptious, too.Vegetarian options: Get the veggie burger!

My hubby & I stopped for an early dinner and it was truly affordable, the food was delicious, and our waitress Josephine was theee best! We're visiting from Minnesota, but we'll be dining there a few more time before we leave, that's a given!We both had the open-faced Hot Turkey, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy. The cornbread muffins are out-of-this-world! As my hubby said, "These cooks really know how to cook up perfection!" The menu is extensive and we plan to try other items when we dine again!I also bought two little pies and we each had a slice of the Banana Cream and it was really, REALLY good! I can't wait to try the Chocolate Cream one today!On the way out, I purchased a pair of slippers & a coffee mug for my hubby. He was gifted with the nickname of "Bearmeat" when he was a little boy, so these items were most appropriate, reasonably priced and high quality to boot. My hubby said that the slippers are extremely squishy inside and are very comfortable to wear after just having foot surgery.

This is specific to 9510 Farm to Market 1960 Bypass, Humble, TX 77338 location. The food was good the service was absolutely horrible!! Our server gave us no service with no refills without asking and no check at all. We had to get up and go ask for the check. This location obviously has serious issues with service and preferential treatment of its guests. I will not be attending this location again!!

But the Karina, our waitress was top notch, she was very friendly, attentive, clearing plates as we were done, refilling our coffee cups, all of this while still taking care of all of the other tables with the same customer service.Thank you Karina.

We had a group outing yesterday to BBD, and we were scheduled to arrive at 1630, which we did. (We also called the day before, to let BBD know we had a party of 14 coming). When we arrived, there were two other ladies that were waiting to be seated. The waitress who was there, alone, let us know that she was by herself on the floor and that she would take care of us. Despite her best efforts, she did not. We were seated and asked what we wanted to drink; a couple of other small groups of people started coming in. We noticed that the waitress took food orders for all the other smaller groups before she took our orders. The people who came in AFTER us, got their food and left and we still had not even given the waitress our food orders after being in the restaurant for over 1.5 hours. Other employees trickled in but it didn't help us get our food in a timely manner. Our orders came out 2-3 at a time, AFTER other patrons were served. It was the general consensus of our group that if the food had been as bad as the experience of waiting for it, we would've probably rioted, but the food calmed us and almost made up for the lack of attentiveness that should've been shown to our group. The food was good but the lack of adequate staff made our visit only mildly tolerable. *** Whoever manages this place, please respond: What happened to your staff? Please reply.Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions, I wouldn't suggest you go here. Their food is seasoned well and can be greasy/oily.
