Food was amazing, very flavorful and filling. I got the smothered porkchop and my sister got the beef tips. The porkchop was so tender that I was able to break it with my plastic fork. The Mac and cheese was made just right, it was creamy but not Waverly creamy. My sister said the beef tips were seasoned well, tender and the gravy was nice and thick. Will definitely be back to try sometime different. Oh, and very reasonable price!Kid-friendliness: Very courteous. Owner came out to speak with guests and hat for a few minutes. Very friendly

Here’s the TRUTH…..The food was decent. The customer service was a joke (yelling across the room in a restaurant is just unprofessional). Yaw do better. The establishment aesthetics is ridiculous. It’s filthy! Please take the time to clean up before you open or after you close your choice. The least you can do is clean up. Try at your own risk ⛔️

All I'm going to say is I don't know how this place is not packed! I haven't had soul food this good in a long time! The guy that rang me up was not the friendliest, but the food was so good that I forgot about it as soon as I started eating!

I was on the way home from the airport with my boyfriend and we stumbled upon this place while trynna find some place to eat. I’m glad we took a chance and came here. The staff members were welcoming and did a concise, detailed run through of the menu before we ordered. Each entree comes with two sides and bread.I got spaghetti, broccoli casserole, and yams. Spaghetti was pretty basic but I really enjoyed my sides. The flavor was all there. I wish I ordered cabbage or green beans to balance out the carbs lol.Bf got the smothered porkchop, mac and cheese, and corn. The smothered porkchop was very tender and probably the best thing we had. The Mac and cheese was basic and the corn was pretty flavorful.I’d come back to try some other things on the menu. The amount of food you get for the price is a steal!
