Wow, this is a hidden gem. Great service, great excellent food and fair prices. I can see why this is a local favorite here in deep Texas. The fajitas were tender and full of flavor, the refried beans tasted amazing and the fresh salsa and warm chips all added to the experience. This place cooks with love and you can taste it in the food and experience it with the service.
As a truck driver I used to get through here 2015 - 2016 after hurricane in Houston. Have missed it a little. Got through today- had to stop. So refreshing knowing you can get a home run meal on the basics. Nothing fancy- but a PERFECT beef burrito plate, caso, topping, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce- beans and rice on the side. Perfect portion size, great price. Frennly crew. Couldn't / wouldn't change one thing. Great stop!

It was great. The tamales were the star of the show. The salsa was thin and the chips were over cooked, but the rice and enchiladas were good. Their version of queso is just plain white cheese, without any kind of peppers or anything added, but everybody liked it.
