It may not be a fancy BBQ place with tons of money spent on decor, but, I will say this is some of the best BBQ I have put in my mouth in a very long time. I have been to world renowned BBQ places and will say that this is one of the top 3 I have tasted. I had the sliced brisket and sausage plate with 2 sides and I was not disappointed. It had a great smoke ring on the brisket and even though I requested it lean, it was still moist and tender and had phenomenal flavor. The sausage was also a great bite and was served with a ketchup based sauce and a vinegar based sauce. Both were very flavorful and was scratch made. I got the fried okro and pinto beans as a side. Okra was light and crispy and the beans were flavorful. My son got the ribs and he said they were excellent being very moist and fall off the bone tender. He also got the buttermilk pie. He enjoyed that so much he almost got a second piece. The portions for the price is a respectable amount of food. I would suggest it to anyone in Huntsville and the surrounding area! Lip smacking good food. I will definitely be back. And I found out from another patron that they will also smoke your hams and turkeys for the holidays and offer specials! How great is that. Now I won't have to worry about making Christmas dinner (and maybe Thanksgiving) dinner again!

Stopped in on a recommendation, had a wonderful lunch. Service was amazing, everyone was friendly and happy. We had 2-meat plates and some pie for desert, well priced and delicious.
My best friend suggested BBQ and took me here. I walked in to a happy environment with delicious smelling BBQ. It was soo good , Everyone was so sweet and I could help but smile the whole time being there. My boyfriend is planning on becoming a regular that's for sure!

Kindest staff you have ever met. The value is incredible. I got a sliced brisket sandwich and fries and a drink for under $10. Fries were some of my all time favorites, they flour them before frying for extra crunchiness, 10/10. The brisket sandwich was good, very juicy and tender. It lacked on the smoke side of flavor, but I did enjoy it. 6.5/10. Overall I would eat here again, and it's a great place on a budget.

One of Huntsville”s best places to eat! Not only are the BBQ and Catfish amazingly delicious but the people and atmosphere are absolutely incredible. You’re warmly greeted as soon as you walk in by super friendly people whom all seem to be family. You’re made to feel like you’re a part of it as well. Conversation is always good and everyone that stops by feel like locals even if they aren’t. I had the pleasure of sitting near some Huntsville alumni and it was nice to see how the diversity that I love our hometown so much for existed even back then. Benny Js will always be my number one recommendation. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a bite you’ll feel right at home! Don’t forget to try the Buttermilk pie!?

Passing through Huntsville looking for somewhere to eat lunch. Google recommends this place as one of the top 10 places to visit so we gave it a try. Texas style smoked ribs, brisket, jalapeño sausage and chicken was awesome! French fries and potato salad sides were just as awesome as the meat. Over the top friendly staff were very polite, respectful, and provided great service. Price was very reasonable. Did I forget to mention desert? We ordered a slice of buttermilk pie to go and really enjoyed that as well. Definitely check this place out if your in Huntsville or close by.
