“Baked 'n Sconed is in the building I used to crank donuts out in before going to college. I remember that location fondly and was so happy to see another shop going in. Their scones are incredible, service quick, and the coffee hot and delicious. I'm partial to the cherry turnovers and won't ever pass an opportunity to pick one up. It is a small space with some tables, a sofa, and a bar to sit at. There is also a picnic table outside. I do see some folks working out of the location, but it doesn't seem you'd be able to park it there for a long time. I highly advise checking it out and getting a ham+cheese croissant!“

“My wife finally finished her Masters thesis project on a Saturday night so I wanted to surprise & celebrate her big achievement the next day with sweets, however I couldn't find a place that was either open on Sunday or a place that did not require an order placed in advance. Suga's Cakery (Patricia) thankfully was open and after chatting with her via her website, I placed an order for 6 different cupcakes.No B.S., these were the most delicious cupcakes my wife and I had ever eaten & we come from NYC and have eaten at Magnolia Bakery when it was all the rage. Patricia's cake was moist, the icing just the right amount of sweet, and you can taste that these were handmade and made by someone who puts care into their baking.Besides the fantastic cupcakes, Patricia is the warmest and sweetest baker. After about 15 mins she text me that the order was ready. I went to pick them up & told her why I was buying the cupcakes, she took a cupcake into the back and wrapped the top in fondant with a "Congrats" written on top to celebrate my wife's accomplishment.What a wonderful, thoughtful gesture! You will not find that kind of above & beyond service at a supermarket or other big box store where you can purchase cakes & sweets. “My SIL wanted to have an amazing cake for her birthday and asked for my help finding a bakery to do the job to her high standards. I had 0 experience with ordering a cake from a bakery and was nervous.My SIL is a diva and changed her mind a couple of times, but Diane was very understanding and helpful! She even helped with pairing the filling with the cake. Which I was very grateful for!She helped me every step of the way, worked with me to find something in our budget but up to SIL's strict standards, and was genuinely just a joy to talk to (whether by phone or email)!Not only was Diane the kindest and most helpful lady ever, she can BAKE!!The cake was beautiful and beyond delicious! I wish I had a picture to share! The almond cake and cream cheese filling was a delightful blend of tastes and textures! It was sweet but not overly so, with a delicate feel. Honestly, I probably could have eaten the whole thing by myself if not for propriety sake! ??I also wanted to add that we drove this cake roughly 100 miles in a car full of kids and it made it there safe and was perfect to eat straight away. I give credit to Diane on this one, as she not only had a lot of helpful tips of safe transport (like floorboards NOT laps), but the coolest boxing method I've ever seen. I did delivery work for years so I'm always happy to see a business that cares about good packaging for transport! “I had takeout from this place and it was really fantastic. Every item we tried was good. My favorite were the brussel sprouts. Absolutely off the hook. Definitely the best brussel sprouts I have had in YEARS. Like, I could not make them this good at home if I tried. Everything we ordered from here was good though, we had sandwiches, biscuits, and a bunch of other stuff, including a salad with beets and goat cheese. I did not set food inside the place because someone else picked up the order so I can't say anything about atmosphere, but the quality of the food at this place really impressed me.“

I even bring my kid to this library for their story times and etc. Is there just so much natural light that comes into this building? So many amazing people and staff members that are in this building on a daily.I have never tried the food in their cafe but I probably should the next time I'm in there.Parking: There's parking on both sides of the library. Sam's parking spots you will have to parallel park and others are just normal parking.Kid-friendliness: I feel like the fact that it's a library it speaks for itself. Yes, it's kids friendly.
