Used to be a good local place to drop your boat in.. Owner got greedy .. Wish somebody would buy it and make it a great place again.. Lots of trash cuz nobody cares.. Just my input..Nearby activities: Fishing if you can get a boat out with low tide.. Not much maintenance done..

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE, I stayed here with my 2 dogs in Oct 2023 at the small blue cabin. And we didn't want to leave the view was soooooo beautiful and that back porch was just as peaceful as it gets! I will be back and I highly highly recommend.

I made a reservation for this place for one night for the captain's quarters. We had to cancel as my husband ended up getting COVID. I advise the hotel and ask if we were gonna get a refund. And because they were not able to fill the room for that night we did not get a refund.It was hard to correspond by either phone or email with Lani as there was a big delay in getting an answer from her and when she did she said it was that she was with family or dr appt or traveling that she does not answer her phone.

We love staying here, the rooms are clean,great view,they have a private beach and marina,you can fish off the dock and beach. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone is friendly, there's a full kitchen at both ends of the lodge, one is older but still nice,they have everything you could want to cook a meal as far as pots pans utensils and plates, bowls,ect.... you can make a pot of coffee and get a cup or 2 and the other guests will help themselves, after your done cooking or making coffee all they ask is that you Clean up your mess,they even have the stuff to wash your dishes with. If you want a quiet relaxing place to go this is it,the owner Lani is very nice and I've had several conversations with her on the phone and she's always pleasant.Rooms: Clean and comfortableNearby activities: Private beach and nice fishing spotsSafety: We felt safe here,nothing to raise any concerns

DO NOT STAY HERE this was the WROST place we’ve stayed at .we came out here for my 21rst birthday. it started when we got there the host was not there she said she caught covid so there was another host there , she did not explain any of the rules nor did she even show us to our room . The next day we woke up to a hand full of messages . Not to mention the people of color are not welcomed we were always stared down and .we were told we need to wash and re use our towels and take out our own trash also that we CANNOT have a dog but when the some other people came they were able to bring their dog and they also left there trash outside there door and the host took out their trash and did there laundry for the towels we were also accused of that dog being ours and that we could not have a dog only the other people could even though it says on the website no dog are allowed for the respect of other guest .we were also accused of trespassing by a random guy who just lives there TWICE . There wasn’t one day we didn’t get messages from them every single day we were waking up to messages of complaints saying the random guy that lives there is complaining about something . They do not tell you some random guy just lives there it’s very uncomfortable they were very unhelpful everytime I tried asking the host if I could call her she told me she couldn’t talk on the phone because she had covid but yet she was texting me every day complaining . They treat people of color very different here this was for sure the worst birthday ever .

Stayed at Lodge on Feb 14, 2020 for Valentine's Day and did the dinner special too. We literally fell in love with this place and the community and decided to move to the area four months later. We stayed multiple times and had some terrific dinners too. Highly recommended for a relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The views are incredible of Corpus Christi Bay too.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE....We came out here for my cousins birthday when we got there we sang happy birthday and was told someone complained about the noise the next morning they complained that we didn't wash her dishes from the night before but they were not even our dishes the Airbnb owner Lani was very unprofessional and rude not to mention racist we ended up having to relocate into a hotel because of how bad the service was I recommend nobody stay here save your money for a better side of the coast. This is is not an airbnb it's a bootleg hotel
